Sixty-eight people were killed and nearly 200 others injured, most with severe burns, after an explosion Saturday at an automotive parts factory in eastern China that supplies General Motors. The explosion occurred at 7:37 a.m. at a workshop in the factory, which polishes wheel hubs. A preliminary investigation showed that the blast was likely triggered when a flame was lit in a dust-filled room, the local government said.

Slaves to an overpaid CEO for an unregulated corporation is the definition of capitalism 2014. When the corporation doesn't do well every taxpaying average citizen is assessed. When the corporation does do well only the CEO and shareholders benefit, not the taxpayers.

The beauty of subcontracting. Here in the States AT&T, Verizon and all the other carriers send young ambitious boys up their towers, but they never put them on their payroll. They use a subcontractor so that each time one of those boys falls and dies they aren't liable. About 350 workers die every year from this. But Capitalism has developed a workaround. Isn't that wonderful.
