Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Sunday, July 20, 2014

Not everyone who arrived in Brazil during the World Cup is prepared to go home. Hundreds of Africans who attended using tourist visas have requested political asylum. Brazil has become a destination country for migrants from around the world due to its lack of strict entry mechanisms and a poorly regulated labor market. "None of us could afford tickets for the games if we wanted to go. We came here looking for better lives and the opportunity to work," said Enoch Mensah, a Ghanian currently living at a Sao Paulo emergency shelter.

Can you imagine, living in an African country, that is so destitute that folks choose to immigrate to Brazil, where 30 million folks live in slums and abject poverty ??

Emmigration is a worldwide problem as nation after nation is destroyed by either religious extremists or drug cabals. We are going to have to deal with these people at some point, probably the sooner the better. How powerful will we let the drug cartels become before we realize they are a threat to our nation? We need to declare war om them and wipe them out.

Actually Danni, I'm glad to hear you say that, but will you say the same about Muslims from other countries?

In completely unrelated news, the Brazilian national soccer team is seeking asylum in the Ivory Coast.

"united states military aggression"

We're self destructively aggressive.

But the former government of Afghanistan participated in an attack against us without provocation. We invaded in direct response to that.

Why we stayed is another story...
