Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Thursday, July 17, 2014

A 16-year-old Texas girl said that she was drugged and raped and a photo of her assault has become a social media meme. Jada, who withheld her last name, was at a friend's house and said she thinks her drink was spiked. "I had no control," she said. "I didn't tell anyone to take my clothes off and do what they did to me." A photo of her lying on the floor with one leg bent was cruelly spread online, and others put pictures of themselves in a similar pose under the hashtag "#jadapose."

The teen is letting the media use her first name and did an on-camera interview. "There's no point in hiding," she told TV station KHOU in Houston. "Because of the picture everybody has already seen my face and body."

This is completely untrue representation of the facts as even the girl Jada herself has told.

Get a better source RCade.

I don't know what facts you have a problem with, but the stories on CBS News and KHOU are directly sourced to the victim.

It's Andrea's secret. She's very involved with the Rape Culture, so we must believe what she says.

As the father of a 15 year old girl these stories are troubling. I never would have ever considered anything like this as a boy. There is a story now in Calhoun Ga where three boys raped a girl [...] breaking her pelvis. How does a parent not see when their kid is a monster? All kids do dumb things but, there has to be signs that lead to this type of behavior?

Gotta love the internet. What would before have just been a bad memory where a girl regrets doing sometihng stupid is suddenly a federal case.

How old is 16 anyway, people? If they can be tried as adults for taking life, they can consent to making life.

Myself I've said amny times, minors are minors. Nobody can consent and trying them, as adults is insane, no matter what the crime.

tHEY'RE JSUT kids. Stupid kids make stupid mistakes.

Theres plenty of tweets from other party goers, including females, that state that what went on was a akin to swingers party / ----. Even a photo of Jada laying, clothed, on a bed, as another couple is doing there thing 2 feet away from her. The girls said they went to the party, drank "lean" smoked, and chose 1 or several guys to ..... They tweet that Jada is upset her photo went viral, and that they all had fun, even her until several days later and she saw the photo.. Its troubling because you can see the interview with the family and preacher infront of the house where this happened, and its in a upscale neighborhood that begs the question, where were the parents in all this? 20+ teenagers smoking, drinking codiene laced soda, doing Lord knows what in that house.
