Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, July 02, 2014

On the first day of the new Georgia Safe Carry Protection Act, a misunderstanding between two armed men in a convenience store Tuesday led to a drawn firearm and a man's arrest. "Essentially, it involved one customer with a gun on his hip when a second customer entered with a gun on his hip," said Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress. A man carrying a holstered firearm entered the store to make a purchase. Another customer, also with a holstered firearm, approached him and demanded to see his identification and firearms license, police said. The second man left the store and called police.

Interesting thing is if they start killing each other their autopsy is going to become public record and we're going to find out if they really do all have small -----.

So if the second guy pulled his gun and the first guy was afraid and shot him dead would it be murder?

Alternatively, if the second guy got his gun out and killed the first guy, would it be murder?

If you are in a store, a restaurant or other public place, and you cross paths with a with a gun-nut with a holstered handgun, get as far away from the idiot as possible. You have NO WAY of knowing if he is mentally unbalanced, a convicted violent felon, a loony sovereign citizen, or just a careless NRA dope, with good intensions, who will "ACCIDENTLY" injure or kill you, whether on purpose or by accident, the results are the same

Sound advice from former cop ...Sammy

They were lucky this time. One of them actually was a responsible gun owner and did the right thing.

The odds are not always in your favor.

Here in GUN CRAZY Arizona, convicted felons can, and do, petition the courts to restore their gun rights. As thousands of ex-cons successfully do every year ....

Euphemism for afraid to man up out in the street.....take ten steps, turn and draw your gun....fire!

You have a problem with due process. 13-925. Restoration of right to possess a firearm; mentally ill persons; petition

I'd get behind this law if there was a "Be" in front of "Safe."

I'm glad you are a former cop then. Sounds like you would be one of those cops that shoots first and then finds out it was a twelve year old with a squirt gun.

Alternatively, if the second guy got his gun out and killed the first guy, would it be murder?

In either case, it would be littering at the worst, a public service at best.

Rodney's an old roommate of mine and a good buddy. Quite a turn of the phrase he has.

That is a federal law you are talking about, not AZ law.

Besides that me thinks you are full of that brown smelly stuff. Post a link for that bub.
