Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, June 30, 2014

"My advice to Hillary, just go away. Go away for a while. We're going to see each other in a couple of years -- a lot," Bill Maher said during his HBO show on Friday. "Just go away, because otherwise you're going to blow this." The host of Real Time gave the advice while discussing the flood of publicity that has come her way since gearing up to release her second memoir, Hard Choices. During a stop at ABC News, Clinton said she and her presidential husband, Bill, "came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt." "They're trying to keep walking this back, " Maher said. "People say that Hillary being out there with her book tour, talking about all this stuff, it's going to inoculate her. There's a fine line between inoculate and we're sick of you."

Well he is right, both the left and the right are really good about screwing things up before elections come up and hurt their chances of getting elected.

Hillary shouldn't be taking the attention away from the mid-term elections. Instead of pushing her book she should be out campaigning for Senators, Congressmen and Governors. Her book shouldn't have been released until after the election. Same goes for Elizabeth Warren. What are these folks thinking about?

"What are these folks thinking about?"

money and their own political futures. that's my guess.

I think that is good advice. All she is doing is giving her opponets on the left and right a lot of ammunition for 2015. The presidential election is still a long way from here. She needs to stay out of the public eye for at least another year and a half..

Yep they have hid her so long, What they don't understand is the internet is here now and no mater how long she hides when she comes out we all remember all the things she has done.

She should be in jail not running for office.

And no one has even yet talked about what she wanted in Hillery care.

Doctors would be told where to serve and people would ask for permission to move.

Maybe she can take a vacation in Libya and check out the budding democracy she helped create there.

She can then wing on over to Egypt while she's at it.

I agree, she should go away for a while: say 40 years.

Themselves and only themselves.

What would Corky do?

Good advice. Enough liberals are sick of her anyway. She should go away for a six months and let us forget about all the reasons we are sick of her.

Corky would note that Mr Maher, and a lot of other libs, will be voting for the Dem nominee, whomever that is, when they get a visual of Mitt or Jeb or Tex Cruz as President.

I really really hope Hillary gets the nomination. I really do.

Tired old corrupt yet still incompetent (but she's very book smart) old hag. Can't wait.

That's no way to talk about Mitt!, Tonto.

Hillary is a red herring. The first female President will not be 70 in an age we won't elect a male that old.

That's some, "red herring".

Yes Hilary please go away for awhile. In my opinion she should be in jail for Benghazi, she's a murder. My son is a Marine so it could have been him and his brothers that stand beside him,her comment regarding" what difference does it make" make all Americas nauseated. She's a ugly fat cow. Also an issue that bothers me is Obama was so worried about changing the covers (hat for dress blues)of the Marines.I would think there would be more pressing issues,Obama & Hilary are two peas in a paid.

It will be just as bad when she comes back in two years. anyone who can chuckle about defending a child rapist will be rightly raked over the coals . Now, later, it won't be any different.

" She should go away for a six months and let us forget about all the reasons we are sick of her."

Neocon Hillary should go away for six years. That would be the most "progressive" thing she could do.

Her campaign in '08 was a disorganized disaster. It hasn't changed much.

"Child rapist"?

If you have any evidence that the former President, or anyone else, has done such a thing, you should come forward with that evidence immediately.

she was a court appointed defense atty for the rapist, and attacked the victim's credibility, which was her job. Not that i like her, but she was supposed to defend the guy as is his constitutional right; and she probably laughed that someone siad she should have thrown the case. (link posted for reference, i didn't read it.)

Since the alleged rapist was sentenced for something, he did something, and the victim was molested again, by Hillary. This thing just leaves...not gonna use that metaphor...it stinks. it's rotten smelling.

Innocent men are sometimes accused of this worst crime & it's devastating, even if no conviction. This guy's hands were not clean.
