Joseph Farah, the co-founder of the conservative website now known as WND and one of the guiding lights of the birther movement, was caught by TSA agents at Dulles International Airport on Sunday with a loaded .38-caliber revolver in his carry-on bag.

Do we suppose Joe intended to uses his loaded 38 revolver to intimidate the crew and hijack the plane? Or do we suppose that Joe routinely carries his 38 revolver (which would be totally useless were it NOT LOADED) and forgot to check it? [...]

If it came down to a choice between getting on an airplane with Joe and his LOADED 38 revolver or a black bagged muslim which would you choose?

What kind of moron goes to the airport these days and "forgets" about the loaded gun in his carry-on bag?

Oh, right. A WND founder.

I'd prefer the muslim, as the odds are against him being a lunatic.
Farah, on the other hand, I already know to be a lunatic, even without him bringing a loaded weapon in his carry-on.

Joesph Farah is not a natural born American. He and his folks left Lebanon back in the early 1970s. You can guess what,he as a Lebanese Christian, would think about Islam. The history they don't tell you in universities is that in 1950 the Christian population was 80%, now it is around 25% in Lebanon. He is very critical of Islam. We can all agree how criticism of Islam is responded to by the Muslim community. So he has to be armed, provided security and the rest of the crap some folks have to do to stay alive. Here is a secrete, most people, on the private end, who have armed security don't take them on the plane. Another teem takes over at the destination. Too hard to take guns on a plane. I you carry a fire arm constantly for years, you can sometimes forget the situation. Too bad he has to carry a gun. I thought we had freedom of speech in this country.

He can speak all he wants. He just can't take a loaded gun into an airplane cabin.

Honestly if you were Joseph, would you feel comfortable being unarmed, I believe there is a bounty on him from more than one source that total about 300K.

Doesn't matter. You can't take a loaded gun on a plane.

If you are too scared to go unarmed, don't go to the airport.

That's irresponsible gun ownership. Poster boy for morons who shouldn't own guns. I have enough weapons to arm a small country. I know where they ALL are at ALL times.

I don't visit the WND site and thus could care less what its founder has done, or hasn't done.

As a firearm owner, have to agree with you. If it's not in your hand or strapped to your body, you should damn well know where it is.

While I can't claim to own enough guns to arm a small town, this is the end of the conversation.

Anything else is trolling.

This nonsense stops once idiots like this guy get put in jail and the gun they 'forgot they had' is taken away, rendered permanently inoperable, and then given back. Until then, headlines like this will repeat...

Farah has published two columns on WND since Sunday. One, published Monday, was titled "ISIS Rising - What It Portends." The second, published Tuesday, was titled "Why I Will Never Be A Presbyterian, Again.....

.....Because the Presbyterians grew tired of him bringing a gun to church?

It was not until April 2008, at the height of the intensely bitter Democratic presidential primary process, that the touch paper was properly lit.

An anonymous email circulated by supporters of Mrs Clinton, Mr Obama's main rival for the party's nomination, thrust a new allegation into the national spotlight -- that he had not been born in Hawaii.

Barack Obama's mother was living in Kenya with his Arab-African father late in her pregnancy," it said. "She was not allowed to travel by plane then, so Barack Obama was born there and his mother then took him to Hawaii to register his birth."

Redial/Donner the Clinton campaign started the birther movement. Just think you guys can come full circle in 2016. Ridicule birthers for 8 years and then vote for one in 2016.

#25 | Posted by Dalton at 2014-06-25 11:51 AM | Reply | Flag:

I can just see him:

DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? You don't? I'm Joseph FREAKING Farrah! I write for We're Nutty Daily! I'm a Conservative...yes, also an Arab, but it was the AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE that had the gun, not the Arab. I should be exempt. I still support the war in Iraq for G_d's sake!

That is ironic. To make it really work, though, don't nominate another Birther to oppose Hillary. That would be another example of you acting stupid.

Zed, you going to vote for Hillary the original birther? Don't forget in 2007 Bill was a racist according to Obama's campaign. Is he still a racist?

Some supporter somewhere sends an email and it's, "Hillary the original birther!". Get back to us when you find her fingerprints on it.

Is the opposition going to Rand, Paul, or Cruz? Well, almost assuredly it will be. I like to think of myself as being other than a fool. Therefore almost assuredly I'll vote Clinton, if she runs.

I'd like you guys to run the Mormon again. Now he was an inspiration.

"Clinton's guilt-by-association campaign has even moved to additional degrees of separation. For example, before tens of millions of viewers of the April 16 debate in Philadelphia, Clinton again brought up Obama's alleged "relationships with Louis Farrakhan," despite Obama's repeated and unequivocal denunciations of anti-Semitic statements and other controversial actions by the Black Muslim leader. The apparent extent of Obama's alleged "relationship" with the Nation of Islam leader which prompted Clinton's charge was that a magazine for which Obama's pastor's daughter serves as publisher granted an award to Farrakhan in honor of a successful program he had set up to rehabilitate ex-convicts.

During that same debate, Clinton went so far as to link Obama with the radical Palestinian Islamist group Hamas because the "pastor's pages" section of the weekly bulletin of the church Obama attended once included -- as part of a series of opinion pieces reprinted from various newspapers around the country -- an op-ed column from the Los Angeles Times written by a Hamas leader. Though Obama had already categorically condemned the decision to reprint that article, Clinton told the tens of millions of viewers that "we have a choice who we associate with and who we apparently give some kind of seal of approval to," such as the pastor who -- in Clinton's typically hyperbolic version of events designed to discredit her rival -- was guilty of "giving the church bulletin over to the leader of Hamas."

Then Hillary brought us the meme that Obama is a muslim.
