Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, June 10, 2014

The grieving father of Amanda Miller, one of the two attackers in the Las Vegas shooting that left five dead this weekend, said that his son-in-law, Jerad Miller, drew his daughter into the patriot movement and isolated her from the rest of her family. "He was into all this 'patriot nation' and conspiracy theory stuff, and the next thing I know her phone was getting shut off and she was getting isolated from us," Todd Woodruff said. "The whole world was against him and he was just, he was just nuts.

She does seem to have been the more sane of the two.

Course that's not saying much.

He may have always been nuts, but he probably wouldn't have directed his insanity at the government without the right wing media machine whipping all the idiots and crazies into an anti-government frenzy in an attempt to keep taxes and regulations low for billionaires.

I know these people are grieving and I'm sure the husband was a horrible influence. But something is still wrong with a person who can be manipulated into doing something so heinous.

Does your hypothesis also support the reason why the left-wing nuts in the past; the anarchists, weather underground, ELF, etc, chose to employ violence as a means to an end?

Were those characters a function of mental health combined with left-wing propaganda as well?

No anarchists, weather underground member, or ELF activist was pounded daily by propaganda.

There's a lot of guys who like to isolate their woman from her friends and family. Those guys are always trouble.

She did 80% of the killing.

I do feel sorry for her family, some girls (and some guys) are very susceptible to being overwhelmed by crazy men who have a charismatic part to their personality. Does anyone really believe that the members of Manson's clan would have committed their horrific crimes without first being overwhelmed by Manson?

They've got nothing over crazy charismatic men that overwhelm families, majority of girls (and some guys) to vote for them to be POTUS----remember all that "hopey and changey" stuff. We got the "changey" but the "hopey" is long gone. In fact our situation becomes more hopeless the longer that "crazy, charismatic man" is in office.

Really?

So then what was the catalyst that led them to go ------- crazy?

Just more proof that nothing good never comes from guns ...NEVER

I might add to the grieving dad, your daughter IS NOT A VICTIM, She is a POS murderer, which could very well be the results of a poor upbringing on your part. Look in mirror for someone to blame MR Woodruff

Called it in the other thread, Clive Bundy deciples, and Teahadists. They were nothing more than lowlife domestic terrorists, which is what the Tea-party and NRA has morphed into, a rightwing domestic terrorist group.

"In fact our situation becomes more hopeless the longer that "crazy, charismatic man" is in office."

So now you end up comparing Obama to Manson. Do you think anyone with a brain isn't looking at you with contempt? How ridiculous and how pathetic. You're seriously sad.

" Look in mirror for someone to blame MR Woodruff"

Do you know them? Do you have any idea what you are talking about or are you just running your mouth, pretending to know enough to judge?

.... "and he was just, he was just nuts!"

**** Well that's what happens when the CIA "Brainwashes" You! The CIA probably sent Jerad Miller to shoot some law enforcement people at the Bundy Ranch in their ongoing "Gun Control Op" but the Bundy supporters knew Miller was a messed up Govt "plant" so they ran him off!

History is full of people that are manipulated in such a way by everyone from Adolph Hitler to so called Christian leaders.

It won't change.

Honestly, I think that's a fair question. People who are unbalanced tend to find media or other materials that support their views and at times they will use those materials to justify their violence - left, right or whatever. But it's hard to deny that the daily rants and fiery outrage heard on talk radio, on Fox and on conspiracy-minded websites are encouraging these crazies.

Check out some of this Jerad goofball's videos. Each one of them has comments from people calling him an actor in a hoax, that this whole thing was a false flag by the anti-gun-rights people. In other words, still more anger and paranoia, encouraging the next spree killer.

I believe in free speech, but I also believe each of us has a moral responsibility to consider the consequences of our speech. The internet has made it easier than ever to wrap oneself in the strangely comforting cloak of paranoia. Acting on that paranoia -- i.e., instigating a revolution against the oppressors -- thereby becomes a logical next step to these people.

Naa...unfortunately it is you who are the idiot, and
you and all your kind are being played like fiddles,
rejecting things that might actually help you, like
Health Care reform, and going nuts over things that may
likely kill you, like allowing guns into churches and bars
no less... You guys frequently live up to the stereotypes
about you, even though I don't spread them, and are the
Republican leadership's best friends... They and the fat cat
billionaires that they support and represent, laugh at you
guys every time an election cycle ends, and they head off
to the bank... But hey, keep being paranoid that some
mythical liberal army is coming to get your guns, or to,
OMG give you cheap health care or something...lol

Strange. All this talk of right wing or left wing terrorist and other such crap.

He was an ordinary, unassuming, underachieving pot head until his life was ruined by unjust drug laws, and seeing his future ruined, lost it, and cost others their lives striking back at the system that ruined him. Taking his girlfriend with him.

Why is no one talking about the fact this was all instigated by a life that could have passed quietly and peacefully into obscurity ruined by unjust drug laws?

In the video, the guy is wearing a hat with the band name TOOL on it.
After reading the lyrics from tool, I can see these people had a very dark outlook on life.
www.toolband.com

Not saying it was the reason they did what they did, but if they admired tool, then it probably had some effect on their perspective of the world. IMO
