Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Sunday, June 01, 2014

Former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell said Sunday that Philadelphia Inquirer co-owner Lewis Katz invited him on the doomed flight that crashed, killing seven. Rendell said Katz tried to persuade him Friday to attend an event at historian Doris Kearns Goodwin's Massachusetts home, but he had another commitment. The former Democratic governor said Katz died at "maybe the high point of his life." Katz was thrilled this week after he and a partner won an $88 million auction for the Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News, Rendell said.

Katz employed two full-time pilots and a flight attendant, Rendell said. "The reason I'm mystified is those pilots maintained the plane like it was their life and death," Rendell said.

Nice try Hillary, you will have to take another shot at Rendell before 2016.

"Nice try Hillary, you will have to take another shot at Rendell before 2016."

Now actually tie this to Hillary or admit you are a hack. Totally pathetic.

#2...bawuAhhhahaha! Don't be so sensitive, Danni. Besides, Hillary has really improved her technique since she bumped off Ron Brown.

Not really...did you see how she dealt with the accelerated retirement of pseudo diplomat Christopher Stevens?

And very likely a challenger to Hillary in 2016 if he doesn't fall victim to the Clinton way.

I love conspiracy nuts. Salty, but with a hint of crazy.

It is a travesty when rich oligarchs who have successfully connived amongst their own to own the world and newspapers die on their Gulfstream jets. The media strives to never miss a beat to give them recognition as super benevolent philanthropists with their trusts and foundations that they claim helps society, when the truth is they typically played a part in making poor poorer. The poor give as much or more percentage wise to most in need of charity.

Rendell was always a crony of cronies whose primary mission was essentially taking care of his Philly pals, and never taking care of average taxpayers.

Yea, but they're usually wrapped in tin foil and they don't unwrap easily (or quietly for that matter).
