A hologram of the late singer Michael Jackson performed his new posthumous release "Slave to the Rhythm" with a dozen live dancers at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night. The track was recorded in 1991 with L.A. Reid and Babyface while Jackson was working on his Dangerous album.

Sony paid the Jackson estate $250 million for the rights of his music and promotion. They have to do something for the ROI. It's freaking creepy.

I was hoping we'd see this technology used on someone more worthy than Tupac Shakur Glad it is.

The trouble is, most performers are already holograms if you ponder it. They are projections of images.

The soul of Michael Jackson is not in a good place... there is no exit.

Mark 8:36... "For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"

Lame and gosh awful. But......

Right around the corner is using this technology, naturally paying the legal rights to all parties, to create a fresh cinematic experience. A "modern" Western for example, starring Wayne, Cooper and Ladd: Searching for Shane at Noon. Possibilities are endless.
