Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Ann Coulter probably didn't see this coming.

The conservative commentator tried to make fun of the Twitter campaign #BringBackOurGirls -- dedicated to raising awareness of the 276 schoolgirls kidnapped in Nigeria -- and tweeted Sunday:

You can see it in her eyes. She is hate merchant and desperately trying to stay relevant at that. Her 15 minutes are about out, so look for even more disgusting flailing attempts from her.

No wonder she is a heroine to the neocons.

Let us know when she leaves a woman to drown in a car. Then go home to sleep off the drunk before talking about people with no soul.

To comment on the thread though. I said early on this twitter crap is crap. It makes Michelle or Elijah Cummings feel good but that is about all it does.

Let us know when you're going to talk about something relevant to this century.

"Then go home to sleep off the drunk before talking about people with no soul."

Was Laura Bush drunk when she killed that guy with her car?

What does Kennedy have to do with this thread?

Someone mentioned not having a soul. I was just pointing out someone who didn't have a soul. That did something much worse than make fun of Michelle Obama.

I have mixed feelings on this.

On the one hand, Ann Coulter is a reprehensible -------- of a human being.

On the other, she has a point about this Twitter stuff being useless. It would be useful if normal people got a trend going on Twitter and as a result, people in power noticed it and took action. But when someone like Michelle Obama, who has the president's ear and doesn't need Twitter, thinks that she is helping by taking to Twitter - that's a problem. Because that means that Twitter is replacing meaningful actions.

I like the one of her holding sign asking, 'where's my thorazine?'. Also the one requesting they bring back her stable mate. Very funny stuff.

If you think Twitter is "useless" you should see how much money major corporations spend on "Twitter parties" and getting their brand messages "trending".

Or you could just continue to tell those young kids to stay off your lawn.

Twitter is a very good way to advertise. Save little girls kidnapped by terrorist? Not so much.

Hey Obama (the big one),
Simply tell your husband when he's done plucking your back hair that he should do something about those girls. He likes drones, maybe those can help? He doesn't (wont) even have to go through proper channels, either.

You're unable to acknowledge the potential for twitter to influence the outcome of this situation? It could prove to be similar.
