A panel of 10 NBA owners has voted unanimously to proceed "as expeditiously as possible" on the bid to oust Donald Sterling as owner of the Los Angeles Clippers over his racist comments. The unprecedented move would require a three-fourths majority vote of all owners. If approved, the board could go further and vote to seize ownership of the team for the NBA to sell without Sterling's participation. He's expected to fight his ouster. "The guy has a reputation for being highly litigious. I just can't possibly imagine him rolling over and handing the team over and not fighting back," said Adam Schlatner, a sports business attorney.
