Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Saturday, February 22, 2014

Protesters seized the Kiev office of President Viktor Yanukovich on Saturday and his whereabouts were a mystery, as the pro-Russian leader's grip on power rapidly eroded following bloodshed in the Ukrainian capital. Parliament voted to free his arch-rival, jailed former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko. Her daughter said Tymoshenko was already free under Ukrainian law but still in the hospital where she has been held for treatment. "Today he left the capital," opposition leader Vitaly Klitschko, a retired world heavyweight boxing champion, told an emergency session of parliament about the president. "Millions of Ukrainians see only one choice -- early presidential and parliamentary elections."

Why would you expect anything different ~ it's the only reason they're there. The days of genuine public servants is over (unfortunately) so now it's all about perks, power and money, money and mo' money. They all make a killing from lobbyist both during and after they do a couple stints in Congress. There are very few lifers left with any tenacity and they get treated like dirt by the incoming tea party degenerates that people like you support and gerrymand into the jobs.

Spare us the crocodile tears. It's as phony as it sounds.
