Until the North stadiums gets retractable roofs, the Superbowl should always be played in the South.

A maximum of 10 points is possible this week. Your chances aren't looking good.

lol, yeah, I missed the first one, then didn't play from behind for the others.

TheTom has been spectacular though.

A lot of the winners are likely to be from the winning team. So if TheTom goes with the wrong team, I could see one of the 11-point players having an outside chance.

Rcade's #7 is true, by the way. These two teams are so well-matched, but a couple turnovers could send the game careening in either direction.
Plus, it looks like the weather won't be a big factor.
And, with the extra questions, there are still several who could sneak in like an 8-8 6-seed and win it all.

Now, back to preventing that from happening...

4. First player to score a touchdown

If it's a pass TD, does one get credit for the QB, or just the receiver?

another question....

I have seen an advance for a busweiser commercial AND a bud light...I assume those two are counted as bud...

and HURRY UP THETOM..

I really want to see Peyton get a ring before he retires, so I will be rooting for the Broncos.
But, damn, Seattle's defense is awesome and defense usually wins the big games.
In any case, I just want an exciting game, a well-played one with no injuries. I kinda like both teams.

#21 | Posted by Diablo at 2014-02-01 01:12 AM | Reply | Flag:

Manning has a ring from 2007, when the Colts defeated the Bears, 29-17. He was the MVP.

I'd like to see him win one as a Bronco, though. It is hard to root against Seattle.

Oh, afk, it's so much more fun watching you get antsy.
The beauty of having a "commanding lead" is that I get to rely on my ground game and run down the clock.
In fact, I suppose I could just sit this one out, as your average score is less than 4 points.
(Damn, I kinda just pulled a Sherman, there, didn't I...)

Fancy a game of chicken, maestro? How close to 630 EST do you care to get?

Although TheTom could wait for the players at 11 and 10 points to pick and hedge his bets half Denver, half Seattle -- making it more difficult for any of them to catch him -- I couldn't do that. I'd want to put another 5- to 7-points up and demonstrate that I crushed all opponents under my iron heel.

#34 | Posted by rcade at 2014-02-02 12:39 PM | Reply | Flag:

yeah but it is a smart play....we have to go with at least half that we might not want just for a chance....

so I guess we'll have to wait til the last minute because he's apparently

it might work because apparently
