Australian police revealed Thursday they had cracked a major global money-laundering ring with operatives in more than 20 countries and funds syphoned off to groups reported to include Hezbollah. The Australian Crime Commission said more than $512 million of drugs and assets had been seized, including $22 million in cash, in a year-long sting targeting the offshore laundering of funds generated by outlaw motorcycle gangs, people-smugglers and others.

I favor legal pot and legal some other drugs.
But I have always gently chided my friends who smoked with the fact somewhere along the chain (unless it is home grown) they were helping people buy guns and murder.

I have long thought if they applied the same property confiscation rules to banks as they do to potheads, drug money laundering would be a lot more challenging, Helium.

Sounds like a bogus number, how much cash vs how much drugs. They won't sell the drugs, so counting them being worth something is somewhat dubious!
