Amsterdam's Oldest Prostitutes Retire

The longest working prostitutes in Amsterdam, 70-year-old twin sisters Louise and Martine Fokkens, have officially retired after 50 years and over 350,000 clients due to arthritis and old age. "I was a little bit tired," Louise said. "We like to work in the red light district. You had fun, we know a lot of people ... the American boys, the Canadian boys, the German ... every country come there."

OK, what about legalizing prostitution? I am a real libertarian. We had no laws ageist prostitution until those nanny state progressives and Bible thumpers got to legislate morality. Some men buy sexual services, always have, always will. Some women will sell access to their bodies if the price is right. If it were legal, we could control it much more than now, which is no control at all. I like the German system, a girl rents a room in a public or private brothel, she has security and is licensed,(mandatory exams every month). She does not have to put up with a pimp, she pays taxes, and if some creep assaults her, she will call the police with out fear of prosecution. As it stands now most whores enrich real criminals, the kind of jerks who push dope, hunt for the under-aged runaways and use violence to keep their stable in line. Let the whores keep their money, (think of all the PHDs who paid for graduate school on their back).
