Michelle Obama. She just can’t pull off “elegant”.

From the attention-grabbing bangs, to the high-end Jason Wu dresses, to the colorful J. Crew ensembles, first lady Michelle Obama is considered by many to be a style icon in her own right. But one famous fashion designer – Vivienne Westwood – is unimpressed, describing Obama's fashion sense as "dreadful."

"Don't talk about her. It's dreadful what she wears," Westwood told the New York Times earlier this week.

I've thought Michelle has dressed and acted admirably since she became First Lady, outside of the clumsy expensive vacations.
What's wrong with her attire? She manages to have a kind of All-American look most of the time.
