Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) is fed up with his Republican colleagues insulting his state and then begging it for political donations. On Thursday, he noted that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is raising money on Wall Street as CPAC is refusing to invite New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) to its big annual event. Republicans "are more and more taking on this anti-Northeast attitude," King said. "We say fine, if you want to be anti-Northeast, then the Northeast is going to be anti-them. ... Anyone from New York or New Jersey who contributes one penny to congressional Republicans is out of their minds." Advertisement
