Former vice presidential adviser I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby is among more than 1,000 felons whose voting rights were restored in the past year by Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R), according to a report to the General Assembly. Libby's name is listed in the Feb. 23 report on pardons, commutations, reprieves and other forms of clemency the Republican governor is required to submit annually. The report said Libby's civil rights were restored Nov. 1, 2012.

So? Bill Clinton can vote. Ted Kennedy was even allowed to hold office after patent manslaughter.

Your equivalency is false since neither is/was a convicted felon.

Besides, is your "they did it too" argument the best you have?

Scooter did not have the entire Democratic Party and the mainstream media trying to get him off, either.
I am glad he got his right restored. He was scapegoated anyway.

I did not say they did it too. Clinton and Teddy did far, far worse than Libby.
You try leaving a woman underwater in your car to die and see how the courts treat you.

It's a slippery slope.

Good, he and many more had their voting rights restored.

At least, he's not a "traitor," right?

That means that the traitorous skidmark was able to cast a futile vote for The Stench.

The essence of a leftist: 1,000 felons had the right to vote restored and the left could care less about the other 999.

The essence of a righty: a traitor has his civil rights restored and the r-tard immediately deflects to Clinton and Kennedy.

...a traitor has his civil rights restored...

Factsgender is a social construct.

What crime was Clinton - however reprehensible his behavior - was convicted of? Oh, riiiight, none.

Kennedy, however odious his behavior, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and causing injury, (not the manslaughter charge of Diablo's imagination> - neither of which, to my understanding (I could be wrong of course) was a felony.

Scooter Libby was convicted on felony charges: perjury, obstruction of justice, and making false statements in a grand jury investigation.

I know facts can be inconvenient things when making a partisan argument, but, seriously, Pat Moynihan was right: you're not really entitled to making up your own.

Scooter "Bear" Libby took the fall for his criminal boss Dick "Duck!" Cheney, who also should be tried and get twice whatever sentence Bradley Manning gets.

George Bush was a no-nut scumbag who was too much of a GD coward to pardon his buddies. Clinton damn sure knew what to do...

What crime does your common sense, if not your conscience, say he was guilty of, Doc?
Sleep tight, hypocrite.

Libby, like his mentor Ronnie Reagan, committed treason. Getting a bj in the Oval Office hardly rises to that, Diablo. Even to you righties, I would hope.

How does that compare to your "common sense" view of Dubya lying his way into a war that took 4000+ American lives and handed Iraq and its oil fields to Reagan's buddies, the Iranian ayatollahs?

You do have a conscience don't you? Maybe a visit to a VA hospital will fire it up.

Cheney's loyal stooge. He understood exactly what he had to say to cover for Cheney and it cost him dearly.

Dubya commuted his sentence ASAP and America-hating righties filled his pockets with thank you cash. If Etchy had won, Scooter would have been pardoned and brought into his Admin., the same way Dubya stuffed his Adminwith pardoned traitors.
