Popsci: A car that runs on coffee has set a Guinness land speed record for, well, cars that run on coffee. The Bean Machine hit a verified top speed of 65.5 mph on an airport in the U.K. The process is called gasification and works with just about any carbon-based substance. Coal-powered vehicles were common during World War II and the Bean Machine can also run on wood pellets.

Wood pellets would probably be more economical than coffee bean pellets (IMHO) -path

So, traffic smells like Starbucks, now. I can see the coffee pumps outside their places. Fill up you and the car.

If there are any of those restaurant grease cars around too.. coffee and french fries.

Interesting idea if it would work, the distance record so far is 200 miles.

If they used Starbucks it would go 75. Cuban coffee would make it go 100.

If they used the coffee my mother-in-law brews it would break the sound barrier.
