Is there any Afrikaner named Pistorius who isn't facing a murder charge this week?

Maybe he can move into Arafat's old digs in France.

The thing with race car driving is to stay away from the car wrecks!

--

Hubby took me to my first funny car races in Renton, WA years ago.

There was a great wreak with a female driver in a beautiful souped up 36 Ford.

Then he took me to the boat races on Union Lake in Seattle. The Winston lifted, rolled and crashed.

He complained he has been going to these races for 20 or 25 years and only saw 2 crashes for cars and none for the boats. lol

Then yesterday I called him about the race on ESPN--It was in Daytona and I asked why Danica wasn't on the pole when they started. He's in Seattle right now and said it must be last years' Daytona.

It's bad enough to watch car racing on TV and they show a re-run!?

Come to find out it was the Nationwide Daytona 300. And boy did they have a terrible wreck at the end with injured people in the stands.

Pretty dumb statement. A weekly NASCAR race is nothing compared to how much energy is burned by middle-class liberals to get to work or Starbucks, even if they drive a government-subsidized status symbol, er, hybrid car.

I like the idea. All politicians should wear corporate sponsor logos so we can easily tell where the money comes from.

Easier than campaign finance reform and serves the same purpose.

Heck they could start putting the logos on the bills they pass too. ACA brought to you by United Health Care, The Farm Act brought to you by Monsanto, etc.

Help me out Retorters. I coined the word air-bloggers to describe cowardly bloggers that avoid deletions and dumps by refusing to identify their antagonist in any way (quotes, names, post numbers). They speak to the atmosphere, thus, air-bloggers. I'm sure there's a better term.

Air blogger definition: cowardly bloggers that avoid deletions and dumps by refusing to identify their antagonist in any way (quotes, names, post numbers). Their evolution occurred over eons due to CO2 induced global warming and a belief in the sun god, Rcadian and his regressive commandments. They were known to speak to the atmosphere and through their evolution to slow their respiration rate to 2/minute in order to reduce the atmospheric level of CO2.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on PC had a free weekend on Steam so I tried it.

I'm left with my jaw hanging still. It's actually fun. A LOT of fun. I've made fun of the kinds of nevershower dorks who play these games and now _I'm_ the idiot because I shoulda listened when they told me about the series. Even if you have crappy reflexes yo can still do somewhat decently with a good mind for head games and good awareness.

Shoot, even the single player is kinda neat, with more than FPS styles of play, and some cool over the top time travel storyline.

Really I gotta say, if your PC can handle it? Give it a shot. The game's like 40 bucks on Steam until tomorrow.

What the hell else were you gonna buy anyway, a coupla cases of beer?

Well, the kids are right about this one. Real gem. I never got into Battlefield 3's online because it's just "spawn, run for 90 seconds to a capture area, die after getting maybe 2 kills, then repeat".

Black Ops 2 is fast and fun, satisfies a visceral need. It

They probably assumed that ZDT was going to win and that it would be cool to have it presented by someone close to the guy liberals think climbed on a chopper himself and shot OBL. And it wouldn't do to have the Oscar go to a comedy about mental illness, or about a president that got shot early in his second term. So it had to be Argo, obviously.
