Cats are now being sent to prison

Larch Corrections Center in Washington state has a program in which inmates socialize cats and prepare them for adoption.

I'm not sure which cats should be more afraid.

Those being petted by prisoners who have killed pets for sport or those being petted by prisoners that like being bit.

Sounds like a good program both for the cats and the prisoners who care for them. Every creature on Earth is better off with having someone in their life to hug -- be they human or animal.

I'll grant you most humans are slightly less intelligent than pond scum, but they are still animals.

At least I have the knowledge I'm only 96.6% homo sapiens.

Cats have a long history of bringing rabbits home.
