A convicted felon and alleged neo-Nazi amassed 40,000 rounds of ammunition and planned to kill black and Jewish community leaders in Detroit as part of a "hit list," WXYZ-TV reported on Thursday.

Federal authorities said this week that a search of 47-year-old federal suspect Richard Schmidt's home revealed the list and apparent plans to kill Scott Kaufman, executive director of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, and Rev. Wendell Anthony, president of the Detroit chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

U.S. Attorney Steven M. Dettelbach, who represents Ohio's northern district, said investigators have concluded that Schmidt acquired his arsenal at gun shows or via private firearms sales, which currently do not require a background check.

So is is a convicted criminal who is not supposed to own any type of firearms knowling BREAKS EVERY GUN LAW on the books liberals have pushed for to stop people like him.

" Schmidt acquired his arsenal at gun shows or via private firearms sales, which currently do not require a background check. "

Not true In Most states it is a requirement to do a background check on any firearms purchased at a gun show or a private sale. It is also Federal law that any out of state purchased from a gun show or a private sell has to go through a background check. Also a long rifle or shot gun has to be shipped back to your state via a FFL, it is illegal to transport them yourself back to your state. Also this falls under state rights because it is commerce within the state, which means the states have the sole right to require or not require a background check and there is already a law on the books in the US requiring a background check to be done for out of state sales.

Again there is a hundreds of laws on the books in every state making what he did illegal to begin with. Also the NIC check that is done is so poorly funded on average each state has over 100,000 people that the court has decided they need to be added to the NIC ban lists. The problem is they can't due to a budget issues. NIC has been so under funded since when it was put in, so before you liberals trying pushing more bullsh1t on the gun owners how about you fully fund NIC so they can add the people who a court has ruled are banned from owning to begin with.

Neo-Nazis are not Patriots. They consider America to be a "Zionist Occupied" state.

How about you know the difference in a neo nazi and conservative is not the same before you open your mouth.

The emphasis on collective salvation is key to fascism, as it's an ideology that fetishizes the state. And in that sense, in contemporary American politics, it's the hard-left that venerates the state over the individual. The left romanticizes state power, and the natural tendency of that ideology is to suppress deviations from the approved collective program. We see it time and again, in the neo-statist programs of the Obama administration and in the social policy fascism of the left's homosexual rights agenda. You can't step out of line. Further, that strain on the left departs radically from the constitutional liberalism (libertarianism) of the tea party.

He espoused racialist theories and white supremacy. He was thus not at all within the mainstream of conservative thinking today, no matter what the idiot liberals try to connect and will try to tell you. There's is nothing remotely equivalent among conservatives, or in William Jacobson's words, "on the political right" today. To the one, when extremists or racists showed their faces at the tea parties they were repudiated and ejected from the events. What we call the conservative movement today repudiates the "far-right" that hacks like Jonathan Capehart exploit for political gain. Not so on the America's contemporary "far-left."

Also what does Nazi stand for Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei - National Socialist German Workers

They supports policies characteristic of Nazism; a fascist which clearly to even a child knows that is not what a conservatism is rooted in the American Revolution and its commitment to conserve the rights and liberties of Englishmen.
