Former Sen. Pete Domenici (R-N.M.) has revealed that 30 years ago he fathered a child out of wedlock with the daughter of fellow Sen. Paul Laxalt (R-Nevada), which he and the mother agreed to keep secret. Domenici, 80, and Michelle Laxalt released statements to the Albuquerque Journal acknowledging that he is the father of her son, Las Vegas lawyer Adam Laxalt. Domenici has been married for five decades to his wife Nancy and they have eight children. "One night's mistake led to a pregnancy 30 years ago," Michelle Laxalt said. Advertisement
