Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

With no clear path forward on major health care legislation, Democratic leaders in Congress effectively slammed the brakes on President Obama's top domestic priority on Tuesday, saying they no longer felt pressure to move quickly on a health bill after eight months of setting deadlines and missing them.

Eight months of fighting for this, at the expense of getting anything else accomplished, and now it's suddenly gone the way of cap and trade, when both the House and Senate have approved bills? LOL. Talk about laying down and dying!

"We're not on health care now," Mr. Reid said. "We've talked a lot about it in the past."

Gee, think so? Healthcare must be like the weather to Democrats - they talk a lot about it, but nobody does anything.

We must have an entirely differing view of "cap and trade" - because there never was any reform permitted and still won't be with this "new" legislation. "Suddenly gone", no, there never were any interests but healthcare and insurance industry profits and kickbacks.

This is an interesting development - it would be nice to see some figurative "spine" and force a new bill with a public option. That's not too much to ask?
