Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Saddam Hussein's cousin Ali Hassan al-Majeed -- also known as Chemical Ali -- was executed Monday, Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabagh said. He was hanged after having been convicted on 13 counts of killings and genocide. Al-Majeed played a key role a poison gas attack against Iraqi Kurds that killed about 5,000 people.

RIP

Another victim of U.S. imperialism.

Genocidal mass murderers in dictitorial regimes should be brought to justice as a result of internal political change, not because some hubristic cowboy launches a war of choice to bring democracy at the point of a gun.

There's nothing good that can be said about this.

This man should be alive today and continuing to serve the people of Iraq in the truly legitimate government that existed before the illegal and immoral war for oil.

Baghdad Bob is scheduled to appear on American Idol Comedy Laugh-off this Thursday.

Jak finally a little agreement on this matter.

Ali Bye Bye.

Shoulda gassed him.

Even John Holmes said "that boy is hung."

Do you mean serving as in gassing more Kurds?
So, where is all that oil we won?

OH! Yes, of course! You mean like the mullahs in Iran running that government where only 5% of the popluation actually wants them there.

And, what about the radicalized militants who hate America because they want to steal the riches of the middle east and control it themselves. They ruthlessly kill and hijacked a religion in the meantime.

Tell us what you know about Iraq...

Your ignorance gets people killed! You are no different from the evil people trying to steal power from their ligitimate owners.

Do you mean serving as in gassing more Kurds?

Yeah...

With the hardware those same neocon chickenhawks sold them to do so...

lmao! Maosy bags another one.

It's the bait.... the bait is the thing.

OH! Yes, of course! You mean like the mullahs in Iran running that government where only 5% of the popluation actually wants them there.

The Iranian government was duly instilled by the people of Iran....should we launch another imperialistic adventure against them...just to line the pockets of war profiteers....

should we launch another imperialistic adventure against them...just to line the pockets of war profiteers....

Wait until the Republicans are in charge for that. Dems simply continue the fight because they lack the courage of their convictions.

duly instilled, roflmao!! thanks, I needed that

-should we launch another imperialistic adventure against them...just to line the pockets of war profiteers....

NO!

We should also do it so all those vets won't come home looking for a job.

Dems...Repubs...it doesn't matter.

The imperialistic impulses and need to slaughter whatever brown people who stand in the way of our need for natural resources is systemic---it's not a function of political party, its a function of a 500-year Euro-centric sense of entitlement and hubris as "Gawds" gift to the earth.

You're killing me, Mao. Fucking killing me...

Why didn't they let Obama send Chemical Ali a team of free ACLU lawyers to beat the rap or at least delay the execution for 20 years?

Not nearly as much as we're killing them...

And for what, Ron?

For what?

Shit. No video from the neck tie party this time?

For what?

Think of the poor goats, that's what! I saw where PETA is saying it's a good thing we're in Iraq because of the abuse of helpless goats.

Goats are a good point, Ron.

As global warming and corporate farming practices contribute more and more to the desertification of arid, already marginal grazing lands, goats are a cheap source of protein for indigenous cultures. Unfortunately, as a browse species, they are also devastating to the local environment, thereby ensuring that poor populations remain poor.

And who better than Monsanto to fill in the gap when they finally run out of food?

Cheap source of protein? If only it were that simple!

They rape goats, Mao! They are a race of goat fuckers. It's deeply ingrained in their culture. It's not a war of imperialism or oil. It's a just war to defend goat anus. We've got to reverse centuries of behavior. Hanging Hussein and wiping out his entire family is a start. God only knows how much emotional damage has been inflicted on the poor helpless goats in the region.

-God only knows how much emotional damage has been inflicted on the poor helpless goats in the region.

Not to mention those on oil rigs.

"God only knows how much emotional damage has been inflicted on the poor helpless goats in the region."

Paxil helps

If Republicans like Lt. Gov. Bauer had their way they'd take a page out of Ali's playbook, as a perfect solution to the problem of "needy stray animals" on welfare.

At least Bob got out alive... "We have destroyed 2 tanks, fighter planes, 2 helicopters and their shovels - We have driven them back." - Muhammed Saeed al-Sahaf

...but we want our damn shovels back!

The Iranian government was duly instilled by the people of Iran....should we launch another imperialistic adventure against them...just to line the pockets of war profiteers....

Jak,

I think you're a troll.

You can't be seriously arguing are you?

Are you trying to appear ignorant or are you really that ingorant? You simply don't know what you are talkng about.

Yes, the US sold these weapons to Iraq. I agree with this.

But, answer this question: Were the weapons sold to the Iraq for the purpose of using on civilians they didn't like?

That's your first question. Start googling...

Second question: When you are talking about the government the the "people" [instilled] into office, are you talking about the 1979 Revolution or the the past election that gave the people 2 choices, the first approved by the government and the second approved by... THE GOVERNMENT... AH!!! Really?

Again, Jak, 3rd question, Are you a troll?

You're killing me, Mao. Fucking killing me...

Mao got a soul for Christmas and he's trying it out. Next year he gets a brain.

I think you're a troll.

I think you're a woman.

You can't be seriously arguing are you?

Well, right now I'm questioning everything I've ever learned about grammar.

are you really that ingorant?

I reckon I can spell "ignorant" correctly---for what it's worth.

Were the weapons sold to the Iraq for the purpose of using on civilians they didn't like?

The military-industrial complex doesn't care what purposes the weapons are "sold for". They were sold to a brutal dictator to advance a perceived American interest at the time with little or no thought to the possible long-term dynamics of the region. (See also, "The Taliban") Like a typical Rethug neocon, you're whining about a regime doing bad things with weapons a preceding typical Rethug neocon adminstration sold them.

See that there cognitive dissonance?

Yeah, right there. That's it.

That's what happens when your foreign policy repetoire is limited to a mish-mash of jingoistic, flag-waving bullshit, Toby Keith songs, self-loathing neocon jews, and over-compensating politicians.

When you are talking about the government the the "people" [instilled] into office, are you talking about the 1979 Revolution or the the past election

I'm talking about both, actually. But more sapecifically, I'm talking about the kind of typical American arrogance and hubris that makes people like yourself think we have any business passing judgement on the "morality" of another nation's political system---especially when that particular nation has buried its own soldiers killed with chemical weapons we sold their adversary.

But by all means, let's call them "evil"--and maybe go to war with them. Perhaps your bored, chickenhawk ass needs another "Shock & Awe" fix on FAUXNEWS so you can cheerlead from behind your computer monitor while others do the fighting (and dying)while Halliburton's stock price goes up another point.

God Bless 'Merica!!

Are you a troll?

Go fix me some fucking supper, skirt.

and George W. Bush gets a pension plan...

Not a troll! I gave you chance Mao!

You turn out to be an obtuse fucking moron!

One could slap the shit out of you with a 2x4 and you'd still be looking forward babbling the same bullshit!

Arguing with you is pointless!

Go fix me some fucking supper, skirt.
self-loathing neocon jews

JAK, suck on some of this you sexist antisemitic hypocritical elitist stain. :-O

A requiem, not for their murderer, but for the people who died by his hand:

Silent City, composed by Kayhan Kalhor and performed by The Silk Road Ensemble: Part 1, ,Part 2, and Part 3.

I read in a review that Kalhor, the Kurdish-Iranian kamancheh virtuoso, wrote that piece about the gassing of Halabja. It wouldn't surprise me. It's beautiful, profoundly sad music.

I wonder if George Herbert Walker Bush and Donald Rumsfeld are taking a big sigh of relief.

There's nobody left now to tell the whole truth about that ugly episode.

Arguing with you is pointless!

Yeah, I agree. Your "start googling" challenge to Jak didn't work out too good.

"The 1988 poison gas attack on the village of Halabja, which earned al-Majeed his nickname, was part of the Anfal campaign, in which the Hussein regime killed at least 100,000 Iraqi Kurds. "

1988?

22 years?

They should have sent his ass to Texas.

Can I use that?

I'll pay the same nickel as I did for the rights to, "slapdick motherfucker".

I wonder if he's a troll in person too. I know a guy that has played this role so long that he became what he made up. It's wierd.

He frequents and recaps the Alex Jones site these days.
