Are Moder8's Whiny Polls Annoying The Shit Out Of You?

Moder8 appears to post polls not due to any inquisitive nature, but for the sake of pushing his beliefs or simply whining. My question is, are such whiny and unnecessary polls a benefit to the site or would you like to see them go away?

Otherwise we might miss more of Moder8's DR "classics" -- such as the time he shared with us his recent Thanksgiving dinner memories when his MENSA member "highly educated and respected MD" brother decided, after only one cursory glance at the computer, that all the posters on DR were dumber than a stack of bricks.

I made the mistake of sharing the DR with my brother. He is a highly educated and respected MD. His response after reviewing a variety of current and past threads for about an hour was to ask me why I wasted so much time with obvious idiots. I didn't have a good response.

He pointed to a few threads questioning man-made global warming( - a phenomena accepted by all serious non-agenda scientists). He asked, why waste time arguing with such obvious morons who are so stupid and so tied to an ideology that no semblance of intelligent conversation is possible.
