Chemical Ali Set to Hang in Iraq

One of Saddam Hussein's most loathed henchman, Chemical Ali, will be hanged within days, a senior official said. Ali Hassan al-Majid, the former spy chief and first cousin of Saddam, was Sunday sentenced to death for ordering the slaughter of more than 5,000 Kurds in the northern Iraqi town of Halabja with chemical weapons in 1988.

That's why I oppose the sale of weapons to other countries except for other NATO members. Obama, however, feels that the current path is apparently the correct path as the USA just sent some new, shiny toys to Taiwan.

There is a huge difference between "they HAD" WMDs and "they ARE developing" WMDs. We know they HAD them because we SOLD them to them.
