Over the next few days, as you tuck your holiday gifts away, your thoughts may turn to paying some of your good fortune forward. Microfinancing is becoming a popular way of donating to nonprofits by giving or lending money through an online marketplace of sorts.

I'v been doing that for the government for years--the only difference it's not lent and not through an online marketplace.

I've got plenty of examples of how CHRISTIAN small loan programs have been very successful in a variety of countries and cultures.

Pleases show me where CHRISTIAN small loan programs have failed -- because they are CHRISTIAN.

I see the non-profit has nice new iMacs in a swank exposed brick office. They could be using Dells at one third the price for running spreadsheets and email. (yes I know there is the possibility all is donated)

Micro loans help because big banks and institutions that won't service even solvent companies definitely won't help out the poor or those with limited means.
