Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

So as usual the Taliban can't make a statement without adding a threat. This time its against Australia not to be to pro-Western and not to aid American incursions.
These warnings, however, are marginal to the central vision offered in the article - the emergence of a vibrant pan-Asian identity in which Islam, and the Taliban in particular, constitutes a powerful moral and cultural force but not an exclusive one. Its emphasis on pan-Asian political identity rather than pan-Islamic sets it apart from al-Qaeda ideology.
By ceding premier position to China this Al-Sumud article is such a game changer that one has to ask one has to ask if Pakistani Intelligence changed the Afghan Taliban's mind, is it a plant by Pak Intel, or are the Afghan Taliban thinking of the future?

Your Midichlorian count is off the charts, young Skywalker.

Your Midichlorian count is off the charts, young Skywalker.

I am deeply touched.

Here's where Anakin asks, "What's a Midichlorian?"

LOL.

So which one is it bro?

a) Pak Intel Plant?

b) Mullah Umar thinking let's not bother the Chinese? Or

c) Pak Intel asking Mullah Umar, "Hey why don't you not bother the Chinese?"

Probably (c).

Either way, it is a change of tactics, them recognizing the pecking order in Asia.

And I guess it's the best we will get out of them in the way of an apology from the Buddhas they blasted.

It's all good. The Dragon is taking flight and when even the stupid Afghans can see it, then it's time for a change.

Probably (c)

Wondering what the rest of the Drudge Retort has to say.

Anyway, in other news I got confirmation on what you said about China and its control over India's water resources.

First off the Indians are as far as hard news goes are only building one dam illegally on the Kishnganga River.

Second, an Indian's bawwing comments confirmed that China does have some control over India's rivers. It sends "water bombs" down the Sutlej which can cause flooding over crops. But in terms of building projects to divert water, it's only the Brahmaputra waaay next to Burma which I have heard they can dam and divert.

Not any of the rivers near Pakistan (flowing through India) I've heard of though.

a change of tactics

More like signal. Thing is with signals they can be changed. But oh well.

The rest of the Drudge Retort has Christmas on their mind.

We are going to be running the store, more or less, for next 2, 3, days.

They can do a lot more than that.

There was news on PDF of them doing something to some other Indian rivers making Indian "experts" go into a panic.

You running the store....fill the god damn Slurpy machine, Apu.

D. He's trying to intimidate the aussies so they will lose their cricket match against pakistan.

B? C? Some combination of both. Does pakistani intelligence communicate with mullah omar and tell him "hey, don't piss off the Chinese" or did mullah omar have access to pakistani intelligence and make the decision himself? Hell, not pissing off the chinese seems to be a fairly common-sense thing to do.

Anyway, in other news I got confirmation on what you said about China and its control over India's water resources.

You should post that to the back page. Definitely newsworthy.

Definitely newsworthy.

What is definitely newsworthy is that I was the first person on the planet to leak this info. Or one of the first.

Now your job is to wonder, "how the hell did he know?" LOL

To me. Or maybe to everyone. I have no way of knowing.

Now your job is to wonder, "how the hell did he know?"

If you did get the inside scoop there are quite a few explanations, none particularly startling.

But yeah, it sounds like an interesting story.

Just like a magic trick.

Dazzling illusion... simple explanation.

You should post that to the back page

Thanks ZH.
