Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

The 10 Democratic senators who crafted a healthcare compromise are keeping its details a secret, says Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said Friday. Responding to a complaint by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) that Republicans haven't been told what's in the new bill, Durbin, the No. 2 Democrat in the Senate, responded that he's in the same position.

Transparency! Gobama!

Its time kill this fucking shit and start over later---when there's some adult supervision.

When America gets control of its country back, this issue needs to be taken away from leftist shit forever so they can't again use it as a weapon to undermine the nation by fundamentally changing the relationship between the individual and the state.

Come up with a sweeping set of market-based, portability, and tort reforms--and pass it, but with the blessing of the American people.

If you have cancer, you don't just zap it once and pretend its going away forever. You go after it incessantly until you kill it. Same thing with this "health-care" bullshit. We need to kill this fucking left-wing circle-jerk for now, elect the good guys, pass something that will actually reform health-care costs but is also compatible with a free country, and take this issue off the table forever.

-elect the good guys

The "good guys' held office for the last 8 years and aggressively ignored the problem.

Hey Dickie? Maybe it should piss you off.

They didn't ignore it, they just didn't prioritize it as they were fighting Illegal and Immoral Wars (TM).

Furthermore, it wasn't really a "problem" with the electorate at large until leftist shit began to sell it as a "problem" and put it at the forefront of their agenda.

That, more than anything, demonstrates why this has nothing to do with "health care"---and never has. Its a disengenuous fucking power-grab by people who have always despised this country and are determined that the Unwashed Provincials who comprise it will live in ways that more compatible with how leftist shit think it should be lived.

I don't have any more fucking patience with it.

"I would say to the senator from Arizona that I'm in the dark almost as much as he is. And I'm in the leadership," Durbin said on the Senate floor.
Sad, but hilarious if you're as cynical as I am.

I think Democrats are afraid to reveal what is in the bill, because they know Americans won't like it. They've experienced this repeatedly since they took over the Congress. They would rather keep our country in the dark than be honest about the shit they are attempting to pass.

I think Democrats are afraid to reveal what is in the bill, because they know Americans won't like it.

Not possible. Congress isn't afraid of revealing anything to the public.

I'm seriously starting to believe that the insurance lobby is going to get what it wants in the form of a bill that produces a solution nobody will want.

I guess all that money being paid to dems is going to pay off afterall.

My first sentence was huge sarcasm (in case that wasn't obvious)

"Even Durbin Doesn't Know What's In New Healthcare Bill"

But will still vote for it.....

Kind of funny that McCain objects to the bill's details being kept secret considering that no matter what is or what is not in the bill he has already decided to vote against it. We could save a lot of money by allowing Republicans to just make one vote at the beginning of the session which would be then considered to be their vote on every bill. That way they could vote no in advance on anything and everything the Dems ever propose and just stay home.

The "unwashed provincials" are dying for good health care.

Is your point that you are okay with Congress keeping secrets from America? If not, then why are you deflecting from/defending these actions?

"Kind of funny that McCain objects to the bill's details being kept secret considering that no matter what is or what is not in the bill he has already decided to vote against it."

What's wrong with that, Danni? Isn't that the way you vote in elections? You don't know and don't care about what either party stands for, you're just gonna vote democrat regardless...right?
Besides, it wouldn't matter if McCain voted for every one of Dear Leader's projects, you'd STILL hate him, wouldn't you? We know you like to keep it simple...

Democrats....GOOD!
Republicans....BAD!

Let's see, Jestgettin's defense of McCain is that an anonymous blogger, Danni, is just as bad.

Very powerful.

That is the Republican strategy. They win if the Democrats fail. Nothing positive in that; it may be good political strategy, even, but the attendant whining about being left out of the process is truly insufferable.

My wife.

Defense of McCain??? I don't even like the greatest part of his politics. My post was certainly not in defense of McCain...although I think he is right in this particular matter. I would not defend his stand in many other matters. If I lived in AZ, I would vote for his opponent in any primary.

Sad deflections and excuses.

We could do the same thing with democrats and "yes" votes for every tax increase and pork laden piece of shit "feel good" legislation.

anyone see the sideshow bullshit that TURBIN and dodds( I didnt get no sweet deal) had the other day.

idiots!
