Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

As government officials scramble to supply enough H1N1 vaccine for all who need it, one out of five parents (20%) say they have attempted to get vaccinations for a child but have been unable to do so, according to the polling organization Gallup.

It is not easy to make that much vaccine that quickly. This is about the shortest time between identifying a need and making the vaccine in history.

It is great that so many citizens want to protect their health. It is unrealistic to expect so many doses so quickly. The original estimates for delivery of the vaccine seemed overly optomistic.

If you're child isn't in a risk group, you don't need it. Getting the flu is not the end of the world, and not a death warrant for a person with a well-functioning immune system. You suffer for a few days or a week and then you get better. So what?

Big Pharm and the medical lobby want us to forget that getting sick once in a while is not only normal, it strengthens us in the long run.

Do not be cowed!

Few seem to want to say so, but this nation has mounted a dismal response to the swine flu epidemic.

By dismal I mean this: There's not nearly enough swine vaccine to go around, there are conflicted messages about when the doses and antiviral supplies will arrive and half of all Americans are reporting they are too afraid to get the vaccine even if they are able to find it.

And who leads this nation? The same guy who's the "not deciderer" of everything else that hasn't been accomplished. Barack Hussein Obmama. Hope N' Change(We are of peace. Always.).

I still don't know anyone, or know anyone that knows anyone (because i asked them), that has had swine flu.

If I get it, I'm gonna go get some meds, lay off work, lay on the couch, watch tv and smoke weed for two or three days, whatever it takes. Then I'll be immune from this strain of it for the rest of my life.

In any event, I don't want the government's poison in my viens.

They're the same sheeple who get scared by every bogeyman the feds feed the compliant media.

obama's swine flu debacle has now cost the lives of 4000 Americans, that is 2200 more than GW Bush's katrina disaster, the only difference is that the people in nawlins could'nt get out of their own way, they were waiting for the government to pry their lazy asses out of their couches away from their tvs, and with the 14 Fort Hood deaths at the hands of a TERRORIST raghead, it is just a matter of time before the bamster's irresponsible actions drives the death toll higher than Bush's 911 and katrina.

Why does obama hate America? Why does America hate America so much that they scammed the vote to put the most incompetent piece of shit that the marxist could scrape off the bottom of the sewer into America's White House.

Stop the hate, stop marxism, impeach obama for high crimes against the U.S. Constitution and the American people.

Impeach him, Impeach him, Impeach him!!!

As if anything would be different were there a different President. This happens every time there is an epidemic.

Umm....I think its because you cut the funding for the labs... Oh stupid reality!

www.huffingtonpost.com

I have to sign a consent form by tomorrow saying if I want our son to have the vaccine.

I guess I have to make that decision now.

UGH

Like Muslims?

"They're more interested in tax cuts for the rich than for flu shots for everyone who needs them," Clinton

"If you can't get flu vaccines to Americans, how are you going to protect them against bioterrorism?'' Senator John Kerry, "If you can't get flu vaccines to Americans, what kind of health care program are you running?"..."

They're the same sheeple who get scared by every bogeyman the feds feed the compliant media.

At least those are usually based on some reality. Now the bogeymen that scare you that exist in your own head...

I know of two off the top of my head.

My younger brother just started with it a few days ago, but I'm not sure how he's doing so far.

I also believe JeffJ here on the Drudge had it pretty bad.

If you mean about the financial bankruptcy of America, that's for real. It's happening now.

Like I keep saying, flu is one of nature's ways of weeding out the sick from the healthy. Like you, the typical American has no clue on how to prevent disease through food, nutrition and exercise.

I still don't know anyone, or know anyone that knows anyone (because i asked them), that has had swine flu.
I do, two guys at my buddy's office were positively diagnosed.

Well I would, if you would just tell me which number that is on the McDonalds Super Value Menu. :)

Supplies are still being rationed around Washington....Hey RCADE ...you want to rethink your statement about how great the administration is handling this - and why Obama's kids were not getting preferential treatment?

Please 1 in 5 parents can't find their own butts with both hands.

Just think....the people responsible for the scarcity are the same people who may be in charge of the ENTIRE health care system.

What a brilliant choice that would be.

I feel for ya. It's like you're damned if ya do and damned if ya don't. Five of my nieces and nephews in Texas got Swine flu and are fine. I have chosen to get my children the vaccine. But I would never tell a parent what to do. It's a difficult decision and it seems the more you read about it, the harder the decision gets.

"Poll: 1-in-5 Parents Can't Find Swine Flu Vaccine"

Funny that.

1 in 5 people have "Obama" stickers on their bumpers.
