Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen on The Daily Show.

Beck is a hero for the right...why? He's a crybaby.

www.youtube.com

psssst.....it's Vicks VapoRub.

I try to watch Beck (his radio show is better than his TV show) but he is to phony. I never believe when he is passionate about something because everything is the worst thing ever. His radio show is funny and relaxed, though.

Kinda like the first dump of the day.......

You can drive me nuts, JT, but you are funnier than hell a lot of time. lol

Jerry, well done, sir.

So here's my question: Does Stewart nail the mannerisms in his apparent send-up? I've seen one clip of Glenn Beck and read about 15 pages of one of his books--just enough to get a sense of the rhetoric and know he's not for me. (Note I didn't say that it was enough to reach a fully formed opinion about the guy's merits and demerits.)

So is Stewart on with his parody?

Never been a Beck fan... Too much drama... Much like Olberman and Hanity only without the hate I see from the later two.

That being said, Stewart's schtick is funny. Great parody. It takes real wit to do something like that well.

John Steward is great and his parody of Beck is on the money. I would love to see Beck laughed off the air, he is ridiculous but there are enough morons who listen to him to make him a little bit dangerous.

"John Steward is great"

Yeah, you know so much about him and cannot spell his name. Riiggghhhht.

But do continue to entertain us here.

Much better than "Steward".

Spelling Nazi alert.

Since when does spelling someone's name right mean that one is wrong in an assessment of that person's talent? (It means you spelled his name wrong; that's all.)

And Chapel, are you able to laugh at yourself? At people you find valuable? I am. If I saw a great parody of Jon Stewart, Barack Obama, Dennis Kucinich, Bill Richardson, or any number of people I admire, I would be able to laugh at it. Of course, remember, I don't watch Beck enough to know if Stewart's parody is a good one.

If you (general you, not just Chapel) can't laugh at yourself, I submit that you live a very sad life.

There needs to be a threat where you can sign your post and post as whoever you want. I would love to be JeffNDenmark for a day.
