Israel, Palestinians Probing:
U.S. law enforcement agencies were in touch with the Palestinian Authority and Israel yesterday to garner information on Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the man accused of killing 13 people at Fort Hood in Texas, WND has learned.
Hasan is from a Palestinian Muslim family that is still present in a Palestinian village outside of Jerusalem, PA and Israeli security sources told WND.
Hasan's parents moved to the U.S. from a Palestinian town near Jerusalem. He was born in Virginia.
Hasan has a brother who still lives outside Jerusalem, said the PA and Israeli sources.
Hasan is suspected of shouting "Allahu Akbar," Arabic for "Allah is greatest," and using two handguns in the massacre at Fort Hood that also left dozens injured.
"He said Muslims had a right to attack" the U.S., said Col. Terry Lee, who worked with Hasan at the Texas post, where the devout Sunni Muslim reportedly objected to his upcoming ndeployment.
"He said Muslims shouldn't be fighting Muslims," he added. "He was very clear on that."
Major scramble now to "figure out" this guy's background (as if nobody knew). He supposedly made all these comments months ago, and supposedly had suicide bombing comments on Facebook found 6 months ago. If you buy all this, then it also was fully known within the military.
Now that Israel's involved, look out. Next they'll tell us that he was a spy for Iran!
