Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Noah's Ark Zoo Farm, a private zoo near Bristol in England, has had its membership in the British and Irish Association of Zoos (BIAZA) suspended pending an investigation of charges of breach of conduct. The zoo, which promotes an anti-science agenda and preaches Creationism, is not being suspended for that, but for animal treatment violations like breeding animals for the circus and skinning dead ones instead of cremating them as the law requires.

Do they have dinosaurs at the crationist zoo? How the hell did Noah fit dinosaurs in the arc?

I thought dinosaurs are the bones of the devil's angels who were destroyed in the great battle?

"There's a sucker born every minute"

Before I even looked, I knew it would be a tiger. A State veterinarian reporting to CAPS should examine the conditions of all animals regularly, all zoos & safaris, to help ensure that milling is very discouraged. If this were a legitimate zoo the death would have been known to the others. This was kept quiet..

Apparently radio carbon dating doesn't work reliably for submerged oceanic artifacts. So, there are exceptions or limits to the methods as currently employed. We've found evidence of pottery on many continents that indicate people were aware of the appearance of fully-fleshed "dinosaurs" and made art out of that knowledge. There are undoubtedly exceptions to every unprovable rule, but the existence of these animals is reality. Extinctions are debatable.

We also have proof of a great flood, in fact a series of them as glacial meltdowns caused a number of cities to be expediently wiped away. The tale of Noah is probably an older traditional that has been passed down culture to culture. It is also possible that an ark of this nature was in fact built, several times in several places as historically flooding was not confined to a single continent.

As for the creationism part - years from now when the public is more accepting of the possibility and even probability of genetic manipulation performed by non-terrestrials this myth might be put into a more cohesive context. Literalism is the bane of interpretation in this instance.

They, along with the unicorns, missed the boat. There's a hymn about it.

I'm still trying to figure out how all those creatures living in the water drowned, though.
