Whereas King George took away the livelihood of the people, took away their just rights, took away their right to purue their own happiness, Barack Obama is asking the wealthy to pay a little bit more in taxes. He is asking that we not fear high spending. And he's asking that we use some of our revenue to help put in place a health care plan that will allow people to keep their insurance, or to purchase a public plan offered by the government itself.

While you villify Boehner for mis-construing the two documents, apparently you have knowledge of neither.
Where in either document can you find support for
"asking the wealthy to pay a little bit more in taxes". I thought the 14th A. guaranteed equal protection under the law?
"that we not fear high spending"? or "that we use some of our revenue to help put in place a health care plan"? The 10th A. reserves to the states respectively, or to the people, any powers the Constitution did not delegate to the United States, nor prohibit the states from exercising. The 9th A. declares that the listing of individual rights in the Constitution and Bill of Rights is not meant to be comprehensive; and that the other rights not specifically mentioned are retained by the people.
The health care plan -- oh yeah,I remember, it's the PreAmble "general welfare clause".
The power to induce fear, hmm.
Tyranny is when citizens are afraid of the government. Liberty is when the government is afraid of the citizens (when they don't neglect, but exercise all their God-given rights)
So to summarize, what is the difference again between what you stated about King George and what you are asking for? How does "taking from the wealthy", or "hand over the keys to health care to govt" or enslave our children/grandchildren in debt (what you call "not fear high spending"), all these things you propose not took away the livelihood of the people, took away their just rights, took away their right to purue their own happiness?
