Jeffrey Scott Shapiro: I've got a confession to make a deep, dark secret that could get me into a lot of trouble with my conservative friends and something that may even get me thrown out of the Fox News fan club. I'm tired of hating President Obama. One year after he was elected, I hope President Obama shifts closer to the center to become the bipartisan president he said he would be.

He's confusing his dislike for policy for "hating" the man. I don't hate the POTUS, but I think his approach to governance stinks to the high heavens...

Such comments show more about who, the intended victim of the comment, or the bone-head who feels compelled to make the comment? Such vitriol to an otherwise simple request. If one can't pony up some examples, perhaps they should either keep their pie-hole shut or be prepared to look like the idiot they are. No president should be hated especially Obama-- compassion should be felt for him since we've never had such an unqualified person in the white house from an executive perspective. I really wonder whether he's even in control of the process in any shape or form. I wouldn't be surprised if Rahm, Summers, etal are really in charge and Obama's the front man. The dems in congress are obviously the ones pushing the bills and Obama will ultimately sign whatever is put in front of his face. Just feel sorry for the guy since he's out of his element ---get upset with those behind him that are really running the country.

So it's not a case of, as you indicate, "if Obama will do what I want him to...' It's a case of this guy wanting Obama to be as Obama had promised in his campaign.

I told my liberals friends mid-November (and many of you) to get thearapy. You and they were soooo ANGRY under W.

But a change in external circumstances and the Presidency never fulfills fully. I learned that after the first Clinton administration as a communist.
