Just since I've been a fan, Montana, Marino, Aikman and Young were all better.

One of these is not like the other...
He has still thrown more INTs than any QB is history.
That's what happens when you play 2 1/2 seasons longer than your nearest peer.
He still has a bunch of season on his resume where he was shit.
A bunch of seasons on his resume where he was shit? If that's how you feel about Favre, you must consider Johnny Unitas to be Ryan Leaf-esque. In fact, pretty much everyone on your "all-time" list has had a shitty season or two.
He's a low end Hall of Famer. Doesn't belong in the discussion of greatest of all time.
1st in nearly every category statistically and he's a "low end" Hall of Famer...ok. Frankly, by nearly any measuring stick, you'd have to put him in the 5-10 range all time.
I've probably left someone off that list and if McNabb ever wins one he's at least even with Favre, if not ahead of him.
One of the most mentally weak players in the NFL couldn't hold the jock of Favre. Mind you, I'm stating this as someone who hates Favre more than any other player in NFL history. The severity and frequency with which he has annihilated my football team is embarrassing.
