Muslim Woman Tries to Kill Less-Devout Spouse

A Muslim woman in Staten Island, N.Y., told police she slashed her husband's neck with a kitchen knife as he slept because he forced her to eat pork, wear short skirts and drink alcohol. Her husband suffered cuts to his neck, cheek and hand early Wednesday before fighting her off and dialing 911. "I did my best to cut his throat," she wrote in a statement to police. "But the next moment he jumped on me and grabbed me."

Well, sure the guy misrepresented himself, but she had the karmic chance to be flexible and learn a new lifestyle, and why did this chance come to her but for a chance to grow, and she could have learned to enjoy sitting in a New York delicatessen eating a BLT and drinking a Rolling Rock, you know, it's easy to imagine a more rigorous challenge in life. But no, after giving the matter a great deal of thought, murder was the option she selected. Pork, alcohol, and short skirts versus attempted beheading. Pretty damn stark thought patterns.
