Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

The Scooter Standard
Libby was hounded, Villafuerte is to be promoted but why?

By Andrew C. McCarthy

While the most transparent administration in history continues to stonewall Congress on its legal theories for supporting a would-be dictator in Honduras, dismissing a civil-rights case against nightstick-wielding Black Panthers, and flouting the plain language of the Constitution on the D.C. Voting Rights Bill, it's time once again to check in on the president's equally laughable commitment to disinfect the Justice Department, removing all traces of political taint.

Hmmm...where's the outcry? Oh, yeah...she's a liberal Democrat...never mind, Sheeple...

Payback is SWEET!!!

Eat shit, RTARDS. We got the power now and it appears a few of us are not afraid to USE IT.

Nothing like a 'rogue' prosecutor or two to strike fear in the pants pissers!!!!

When Jeff Gannon's idiot girlfriend did shit like this, the sheep were happy as a Republican in a airport men's room.

They aren't too happy now.

We? who is the "RTARD"?

you don't have power over shit, moron.

You're getting all pussy-faced again, Dumbaxe...

Pants-pissers sure do whine a lot!!!!

At least Axe openly flaunts the fact that his party loyalty trumps any sense of basic right and wrong he may have had before he traded thought for party membership.

The rest of you sheep who pretend otherwise are much more annoying.

Aks pretends to be a part of a group so he doesn't feel like such a fucking loser.
You aren't in charge of anything you stupid shit. You're over 40, and still live with your mom. She doesn't even trust you enough to get you a dog. Don't ask why I know that. I don't want to have to explain what "pillow talk" is to you yet.

What I openly flaunt is the total hypocrisy of the assmunching Rtards who whine about this kind of shit still happening.

I also take a little selfish satisfaction in that it is making my Proctor and Gambol stock do well due to increased Depends sales to the pants pissers!!

Your tampon purchases aren't hurting either.

Axe comes out in full support of officials lying to the FBI as long as they're Democrats. He sounds more and more republican every day.

"The rest of you sheep who pretend otherwise are much more annoying."

What's even more annoying are these useless, holier-than-thou, non-deciders who stand on the sidelines and throw shit while mouthing stupid things like "don't blame me, I voted for 3rd party loser du jour.

Null the liberal is here to tell us to vote for whatever corporate America approves of.

Whatever, Hagbard.

Stephanie Villafuerte is someone who gives lawyers a scummy name.

Sorry axe, I hope I don't offend one of your betters.

haha!

Damn. I'll have to watch my rhetoric from now on. Last thing I want is to become a "woke."

Gonna need a shower and a drink after that comparison.

The debates today over health care and other matters seamlessly echo those that took place among drug policy reform advocates in the mid-90s. Those who embarked on a strategy of incremental change were often vilified by natural allies who said that such a step-by-step path did not move fast or far enough. In some cases, entire organizations were shattered and splinter groups formed in their place, competing for the same supporters and funding. We all know how that story goes. Friendships in that milieu of drug policy reform, too, were lost in the divisions, egos and hard feelings. There have always been, and perhaps always will be, those who argue that by urging incremental change a movement abandons its core principles. But in the end, history moves one step at a time, and more often than not it is those who walk rather than sprint that emerge triumphant.

Thirteen years later, those who enacted the incremental strategy have proved correct, indeed, prophetic.

Oh you poor thing. You must be the first person ever to wake up in a jail cell. lol

"You must be the first person ever to wake up in a jail cell. lol"

Who slept? I was in a holding cell with 40 other guys. I got floor space by the can.

You were one of the last people with whom I'd have thought I'd wind up in this situation. How'd that happen, righteous elder brother?

I don't know why I let you get under my skin.

Awwwwwwww poor baby HC. My first 30 days I was incarcerated My bunk was right next to the shitter in a 4 man cell. RCADE talks about can't stand people shitting where people eat IE the whole Armella/LZK thing. He wouldn't have liked eating where He shat if He wound up in My situation. It's not so bad once Tou put up a sheet to block the spray.

Larry

The experience in and of itself wasn't the worst of my life. I was one of two white guys that night (the other being my buddy) and got a first hand lesson in police discretion; fortunately I wound up on the positive end. Wait, the only other white guy made an Amadu Diallo comment. He didn't do so well.

I don't know why I let you get under my skin.

lol. Dude, I really want to go medieval on 3rd party wienies like Joe and Goatman, but you keep getting in the way. Get out of the line of fire, damn it.

What problem would you have with them? Their third party votes help your cause.

Not like Joe or Goatman were going to vote Obama.

Maybe Joe would have. I don't know.

You probably had a worse time of doing time even if said time was only short time. If You do long time in a County pokey I am sure it's easier than doing time in a city type pokey. It still sucks no matter what. I got lucky my time was in a 24 man 12 man per cellblock jail. with a 3 man "Hole"

Larry

How about a truce? On this point, and this point alone, we agree to disagree, content that we are fighting the same fight with different tactics. Deal?

I really want to go medieval on 3rd party wienies like Joe and Goatman

Oooh.

Not "medieval", Billy.

You're one terrifying motherfucker, you know.

When you have enough intellectual capital in your pot-addled, failed-ass brain, you let us know.

In the mean time, I'll relegate myself to having bad dreams about the day you're capable of going "medieval" on your betters.

LOL

What a dipshit...

"You probably had a worse time of doing time even if said time was only short time."

The worst part was that I allowed myself to be there. I trusted a friend, thinking he knew NYC better than me.

Thing is thats the exact same thing that friend says about me.

I should say ex-friend. He broke my heart.

Hey at least You learned Your lesson presumably in less than 24 hours. It took Me 6 Months. Good on You HC.

Larry

Maybe Joe would have. I don't know.

Dunno 'bout Joe, But I voted for Obama in the primary...because I saw Hillary! as more of a threat than McCain....didn't see how big of a role the major media outlets would play in the latter months of the cycle, at that time...

One thing is for sure...we now know what a pop-culture POTUS looks like.

I see Johnny, and Sarah, oh...and there's little Mary.

Romper room...get it??

LOL

Sorry...I'm so tired I'm giddy.

"Hey at least You learned Your lesson presumably in less than 24 hours."

As soon as I saw the silver badge, LM. Before I even got las esposas.

Funny thats the same word as "wife".

Hey Jacque, did the boys in the frat-house during the--best days of your life--call you Jacqueline (for your sexual proclivities), by any chance? Just wondering.

I see Johnny, and Sarah, oh...and there's little Mary.
Romper room...get it??

Yeah, I get it. That part always pissed me off. Never an "I see Hagbard".

My real name is much more common than that and still nothing.

I was thinking about romper stompers today and the game where they used to sit on balloons to crush them. It was my daughters second birthday party.

LMAO HC now THAT is bad.

"When you have enough intellectual capital in your pot-addled, failed-ass brain..."

You moron, I could smoke an eight of Cali's finest and still shred your junior college cow town trained "intellect". Fucking trustfund poseur. lol.

LOL.

Sure you do.

You helpless, miserable little fuck.

Here's to your state government not having to lay your sorry ass off.

I don't know if I could handle the irony of such an outcome offering a dipshit like you more time to blog about the wonders of Keynesian economics.

The neighbors in the apartment upstairs can smell the smoke, Billy.

I'd be paranoid if I were you.

The question isn't whether incremental change is good or not (it is), but whether the "increments" we see happening today are real, superficial, or outright lies. This should be obvious. If I thought one of the two parties would make small steps toward a better America, in lieu of just putting band aids on mortal wounds, I'd vote for them. So far, I don't see either party taking necessary steps to really right what's wrong in this country. When a major party starts really championing the American worker, not just giving him/her entitlements or tax cuts/rebates, I might get behind them.

*couldn't give a smaller shit about social issues btw

The National Review is not a "news" source, but a right wing biased opinion rag. Here, let me help you discover what a real news sources is like, you know, with facts and truth and all.

Not to mention the "much ado" factor about this story. Of course, lying to the FBI is wrong and criminal, IF PROVEN, but that hasn't been done, making this just another right wing SMEAR attempt.

This is the "meat" of this article: "To say those statements to the FBI are highly suspect is to make a gross understatement." and "There is abundant reason to believe that Villafuerte did not give truthful answers when she was questioned by the FBI."

Compare and contrast that with a story that actually includes FACTS.....not insinuations, from a credible news source, AP.

2004 INTERVIEW WITH FBI
Cheney: Didn't recall discussing CIA agent
Saturday, October 31, 2009 3:18 AM
BY PETE YOST
ASSOCIATED PRESS
WASHINGTON -

Then-Vice President Dick Cheney told the FBI that he had no idea who leaked to the news media that Valerie Plame, wife of a Bush administration critic, worked for the CIA.

Cheney's denials that he talked about Plame are among the few things in the lengthy interview with the FBI that Cheney appeared certain about. He repeatedly said he could not recall key events. Among them, he said he did not recall discussing Wilson's wife with Libby before her CIA employment was publicly revealed by conservative columnist Robert Novak in mid-July 2003.

The FBI interview summary was released yesterday to a watchdog group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

Evidence at Libby's criminal trial showed that Cheney had told Libby about Wilson's wife in mid-June 2003.

On the current record, it would be irresponsible to confirm Stephanie Villafuerte as U.S. attorney for Colorado. An agent's career has been ruined, the administration of justice in Denver has been politicized, and the FBI has been toyed with. Villafuerte must be made by the Senate Judiciary Committee to answer the questions she's been dodging on the matter of Carlos Estrada-Medina. If she won't answer, she shouldn't be confirmed. And if she misled the FBI, the Scooter standard should mean that not being confirmed is the least of her problems.

I guess we'll have to see how this plays out.

Another nominee is Chen--another bad seed.

These people have no business as US Attorney at any level.

Wokee--

If you are down on Cheney then you should be down on this woman as well.
