"The FACT that both extreme right and extreme left are denigrating Obama for action/inaction/wrong action is proof:
1. That he is doing what is right for our country and not simply playing politics"
Not necessarily. In fact it could mean the exact opposite.
"2. that anyone denigrating him, especially after this short time in office and the disasters he inherited, is not an independent but an partisan, placing politics over what's best for the country"
I steer clear of denigrating the President. You seem to have a really loose definition of what that word means.
wdenigrate (dn-grt)
tr.v. denigrated, denigrating, denigrates
1. To attack the character or reputation of; speak ill of; defame.
2. To disparage; belittle: The critics have denigrated our efforts.
"3. Namecalling and insults are the stock and trade of those who have no valid arguments to make"
Ask anybody here how much time I spend namecalling and insulting posters.

Nothing about your opinions here is humble.
"Finally, since coming here, I find the repeated support for "regulars" over newbies, regardless of issue and opinion to be pretty pathetic......it reminds me of stockholm syndrome somewhat....."
I call out your newbie status because it causes you to make errors in your assumptions about who many of us are, not for any other reason.
