Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

KABUL Eight American troops were killed in two separate bomb attacks Tuesday in southern Afghanistan, making October the deadliest month of the war for U.S. forces since the 2001 invasion to oust the Taliban.

The deaths bring to 55 the total number of American troops killed in October in Afghanistan. The previous high occurred in August, when 51 U.S. soldiers died and the troubled nation held the first round of its presidential election amid a wave of Taliban insurgent attacks.

Obama has blood on his hands. His lack of leadership and waffling on Afghanistan until he sees which way the political winds are blowing are costing our youth their lives.

I'm sure you pantpissers would be in agreement with me if this was 2008.

He sent 20,000 of our bravest and most patriotic citizens in to a meat grinder without a clear objective.
This is their reward for volunteering.

Right libbies?

Depends Chair.

Do they get the virgins too?

Well, this is change, isn't it?

When did CHAIRBORNE first understand Afghanistan needed to be reinforced? Please tell me it wasn't this year.

When did CHAIRBORNE first understand Afghanistan needed to be reinforced?

January 2009. Until then, he was thrilled at what great military victories both Iraq and afghanistan were. Now they suddenly have become disasters.

Of course, ask him who is to blame for Viet Nam and Korea and he'll tell you Nixon and Ike. LBJ and Truman bear no responsibility for either war.

Given the drudge righties track record of being wrong on everything, I think they should stick toexplaining why they aren't Republicans, and never were, but conservatives who vehemently opposed Bush's nation building and deficit spending. They'd be as full of shit as ever, but at least it would be focused on irrelevant stuff so the adults can fix the country.

When did we elect adults to office?

"When did we elect adults to office?"

We elected an adult in 1952.
Unfortunately his veep was Richard Nixon.

Cognitive dissonance will be the death of democracy.

Actually cognitive dissonance is the catch-22 of democracy.

"Republicans have been accused of abandoning the poor. It's the other way around. They never vote for us."

Dan Quayle

"Democrats are the only reason to vote for Republicans"

Will Rogers

Well, I would never say I was "never" a republican. Still am, techinically. However, I didn't vote McCain in '08 because of his foreign policy stances on Iran and his lack of commitment to a timely withdrawal of troops in the other wars, and won't be voting republican come '10 either, because of their lack of coming to terms with their failures in deficit spending, and war. So the only one who's full of shit would be you.

Yep.

Obama certainly didn't get us to this point but he needs to figure out what he is going to make of this mess, and if he wants to send reinforcements he should do it sooner rather than later.

But then again I'm just posting on a blog and not CiC.

Long since dead. Not responsible for current shit storm. Also, while acknowledging the path we were on, didn't do much to stop it or slow it down.

It was a nice speach, though.

You and that other stupid shit Northgay never know what the fuck you're talking about.
I've maintained since day one that more troops in Afghanistan would mean a larger footprint, which the Russians proved was a bad idea.

So, once again, I best you two retards.
