Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

President Barack Obama has only been in office for just over nine months, but he's already hit the links as much as President Bush did in over two years.

Oh, but-but-but Bush this and Bush that and OMG, Reagan! Did you hear about Cheney back in the day? And that Newt - what about him? RUSHRUSHRUSH! HANNITYHANNITYHANNITY! Oops! Almost forgot, FOX is for POS rethuglicans! Did I miss anybody?

Okay, now we can get down to serious business - golf IS a sacred sport - what's this guy shooting?

So? At least he deserves it for what was done to his ancestors.

Much like his Presidency; under Par.

Remember, POTUS is a 24-7 kinda thing. Never off the clock. Always in touch, in command, and up to speed.

He's what? A Dem? Oh, shame on him for taking all that time away from being in touch, in command, and up to speed.

~Knuckledraging Riiighites

Haha, I don't see this as an issue at all but the big Libs (who previously denounced President Bush's relaxation habits) will surely change their tune because it's their guy in office.

What a joke partisan hacks are.

I'm with NANC, what's the big guy's score?

If he's not doing justice to the game, I'd rather never hear of his golfing. We already know he shoots hoops like a limpwristed sissie!

I'm sure Doc chimed in wtih a similar response when the left was bashing Bush over golf.

I'm with NANC, what's the big guy's score?

I'm sure he can't beat Clinton's scores :-(

Why is this an issue?

It's down time. Everyone needs downtime.

It's not an issue, Lisa - we're just reporting on "CHANGE" in the W.H. That's what y'all signed on for, correct?

Lisa, you are right now and you were right when you shared these sentiments during the Bush presidency.

Why is this an issue?

it is stupid...agreed.

You'd think the Wednesday night hip-hop parties would be enough get down time.

Nanc,

You're hardly in a nonpartisan position, are you?

Andy,

I was suprised that Bush took a vacation so soon after winning the election, but to crtiticize for golfing?? Nope.

I will admit I shook my head after the bike incident...and ok, the pretzel incident. And I did comment on his lack of ability to put together a coherent sentence....and of course his policies that I didn't agree with. And I am doing the same thing with the current president....

However, I defended Bush when he was wrongly accused of something and when others criticized him for being a normal human being who needed time to relax from time to time.

Not everyone here is one sided.

Of course I'm partisan - if it aligns with my ideals - I believe every potus should take up golf. And some should golf every day.

Can obama make a complete sentence sans TOTUS?

...um...ahhhh...er...bubububut
...NO, he cannot.

Lisa - please do not tout this guy's speaking abilities:

www.youtube.com

Lisa, the pretzel thing was hilarious!

As long as he's preoccupied with something else other than trying to spread his BS agenda I say let him.

It's down time. Everyone needs downtime.

I rarely have enough downtime to golf. And I'm not the fucking president.

I'm sure Doc chimed in wtih a similar response when the left was bashing Bush over golf.

You seem to forget: Not playing golf was the heavy-duty sacrifice Bush imposed on himself during his War of Choice.

I wish he played a lot more golf. Up to me, he'd be hitting the links all day, every day.

Bill Ayers on number 8, Par 4, 173 yards out:
Mr. President. How many year will you hold office?

Obmam: FOUR!!!!!

Poor bushy.....had to give up golf (or so he said) after someone showed him how farenheit 911 started, with him saying......"Fighting terrorism is tough work. Now watch this drive" to a group of reporters a month before 911 occurred on his watch. Of course, it was easily documented that he lied again and played golf again a month or so after making the comment that he was giving up golf in honor of our vets.

Next, Obama is going to go (drunken, drive by) hunting in a black suv and shoot more lawyers than hallichainy did.....just to give the rwrs something even more important to talk about.

LMFAO

What's your point? That that was the only reason libbies went on about his golfing? As if they didn't also go on about trips to the ranch. The partisanship is hilarious.

Giving up golf wasn't his biggest sacrifice. He had to give up sleepovers with Jeff Gannon after that unfortunate 'pretzel' incident.

"Can't you libs give it up about Bush already? A guy sucks a few dicks in college, fails miserably at every single thing he ever attempts and goes on to bankrupt the greatest nation on planet earth and all you can come up with is he likes male escorts?"

The Right.

Poor Axe is still waiting for the Presidential election next month.

I'd like to see Obama and Rush play a round. Now that would be reaching across party lines.

also report this morning

barry has been to FOUR TIMES as many fundraisers as bush did in his FIRST YEAR

obama been to new jersey four times for rallies
and to VA two times and on his way today..

but BEST THING I have ever heard about barry
doesnt cheat at golf like blowjob billy..so I guess even a socialist, marxist, statists, moneywasting, commie pinko red like obama cant be ALL BAD

for those of you still with shit on your face, the above adjectives was a joke.

1. a.bush didn't need to go to fundraisers since the repugs get their money from giant global corporations.
b. Didja notice that since 1996, the repugs have LOST seats in every election? That's 13 straight years of losses. Get the picture yet?

2. Yeah, Obama apparently CARES about out troops and veterans

3. namecalling and insults show your ignorance, not Obama's

4. see #3, only joke here is your posts, which routinely have little facts, much hyperbole, with namecalling and insults thrown in to show your allegiance to the politics of spite.

go fuck yourself.

if he cares about those troops then he wouldnt be stalling the sending of help because he doesnt want to piss off the left just before elections in new jersey and VA which is precisely why I THINK he is waiting...he has all the facts that he needs and HAS HAD THEM FOR MONTHS..

or is he not capable of making the decision.

and once again I see that you are incapable of understanding the nuance of sarcasim EVEN with me warning people like you that its there.

pathetic.

THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(hee hee)

AFK

Here, let me help you feel better...

nixon-I'm not a crook
agnew-i am a crook_
ford-pardon?
reagan-i don't recall being a crook
bush41-read my lips
quayle-potatoe
bush43-bring em on
hallichainy-go fk yourself

And it's "heh, heh, heh", not heehee...

think about lilaWol's laugh with that smarmy smirk on his face and his shoulders rising and falling with each "heh".

Enjoy

Are you even aware that Obama already sent 21,000 troops in march/april and another 13,000 support troops last month?

You make it sound like he's ignoring the issue, never sent any troops at all and that is a frickin LIE buddy..and then try to say

Where do you get your "info"??

AP just published a count that has 100k "coalition" troops and 200k Afghan troops, which translates to a 12 to 1 advantage over the taleban.

Just placing the exclamation point on my opinion posted above to those who claim more troops are "needed".

Lemme think.

Average round of golf in Scottsdale-4 hours 15 minutes.

Average round in Long Beach-5 hours 30 minutes.

When you're Pres, I doubt they put you with a threesome of hacks, where you have to wait for the foursome of hacks in front of you. I'd guess he's done in three hours.

Kudos to Wis for finally admitting Obama's good at something.

And a "dumbass" for Joe for not giving himself some down time to clear the mind. The more crap going on in my life the better I play.
