Auntie,

I read this story when it first came out. The facts about the commission is nothing new. I suppose that it is him that is speaking about it does mean something. But, from what I read of the book itself, it does not help the Truth Movement, offering nothing new.

I'm curious what aspect Hannity was covering. Is there a video of their story?

sorry, you said O'Reilly (who surreptitiously said he wanted to have Charlie Sheen interviewed about Charlie Sheen's 20 Minutes w/President, but backed out when Charlie's requirement was it had to be debate-style so it would be fair to both viewpoints) and Rivera?

your comment is very 'apropos'. They both used the ad hominem attack at any discussion of any "Truther". How sick that O'Reilly & Co used the ridiculous Popular Mechanics, which has the major conflict of interest with the lead researcher being cousin of Michael Chertoff! The unwitting listeners never had a clue!

From what I recall, the hype of his book is nothing. He proclaims to tell the "inside story" that basically backs up the latest gov't story of incompetence, mistakes and screw-ups.

If that's the case, no wonder the shills are so interested.

to keep it simple-

If the commission's report is false and inaccurate, then there needs to be a new one. Period.

Of course, I agree with that! I seriously doubt o'reilly & rivera would back that.

If the commission's report is false and inaccurate, then there needs to be a new one. Period.

Deserves Re-post Flag.

"We know that, immediately after 9/11, many more potential suspects and informants were flown directly to Saudi Arabia by Presidential order than were ever detained and questioned. We will never know what they could have said. Their testimony would have been vital to any real investigation were they not put beyond the reach of even Congress and the FBI."

Yikes

So many people lied. Why and who told them to? Some excerpts from the book* and reviews** stood out:

- "Why did the Secret Service allow Bush to complete his elementary school visit, apparently unconcerned about his safety or that of the schoolchildren? If they knew he was safe there, how DID they know?" **

- "Now that we know that intelligence given the 9/11 Commission wasn't just lies from our own government but based on testimony coerced through torture from informants forced to back up a cover story now proven false, a pattern emerges." (sounds familiar? Starts with an 'I') *

- "We know that, immediately after 9/11, many more potential suspects and informants were flown directly to Saudi Arabia by Presidential order than were ever detained and questioned. We will never know what they could have said. Their testimony would have been vital to any real investigation were they not put beyond the reach of even Congress and the FBI." (Bin Laden's family on that plane?) *

Little doubt there was a 'conspiracy' (two or more people) to lie for some purpose we don't know fully. Hope Justice looks into it. The American people deserve to know the full story.

I wonder if this has any bearing on why Bush and Cheney refused to testify to the 9/11 Commission under oath.

The purpose of Hannity's interest is that John Farmer tells a little bit of the story while ignoring or denying the big picture. This way the 'right' gets to hijack the debate and therefore control the discussion!
