Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

President Obama is the chief of state of one of the oldest free societies in the world, but his official White House Web site runs teasers such as: "For even more Fox lies, check out the latest 'Truth-O-Meter.'" It gives off the air of somebody only marginally less paranoid than this week's president-for-life in some basket-case banana republic ranting on the palace balcony because his interior security chief isn't doing a fast-enough job of disappearing his enemies.

Speaking of "giving off the air of somebody only marginally less paranoid than this week's president-for-life in some basket-case banana republic"-right-is-wrong-maybe you should go back on your own paranoia meds......

President Obama does seem strangely thin skinned to criticism, as if he's never experienced it before and doesn't know how to react to it.

Luckily CNN can fact check parodies of him.

"Strangely thinned skinned to criticism...."

If there are lies told about you, you have two choices: 1) ignore the liars, 2) call the liars out.

Both options have a down side, if you are in fact dealing with liars: 1) ignoring the liars makes you seem weak, 2) calling out the liars make you seem weak.

Liars understand this prior to lying.

But Joe Wilson isn't considered weak. Those with an actual conscience (ability to call out the liar without exposing yourself as a hypocrite) don't have to worry about that.

That is your opinion at least.

True, but how can he be considered 'weak'? Contrary to the statement made by Zed, even his foes don't attribute his outburst as weakness, right?

He can't control his emotions, I say that makes him weak.
Never mind the fact that he was wrong.

prozac,

True or False.

Shortly before the outburst, Obama in his speech went so far as referring to Republican members who disagreed with him as liars and even pointed his finger at certain people.

That certainly was out of line --fueling the emotions you wished Mr Wilson could have controlled - - and made the event into a less than civil proceeding.

Obama has impressed me for his "above it all" attitude so far. Am I seeing different news stories than you folk? Obama, in fact, seemed genuinly pissed at the Nobel farce (unlike his sychophants). His response to it was about as low octane as could be imagined. He does not want to be an icon. He wants to be a president.
That from one who disagrees with his economics to the NTH! degree.

Who exactly did he point at?

Here's a link to the text of the speech....www.huffingtonpost.com

kindly show me exactly where he calls anyone a liar.
