Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

More than 300 suspects have been arrested in a series of drug raids across the country that law enforcement officials say is the largest single strike at a Mexican drug cartel operating in the United States. The arrests are aimed at the U.S. operations of the La Familia cartel, two officials said Thursday, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the results of the operation. Over the past two days, more than 3,000 federal agents and police officers carried out arrests in more than a dozen states, as part of a long-running anti-drug operation that has netted nearly 1,200 arrests over almost four years.

And that's just those in the police force.

Punishment? Give them a free ride back to Mexico and force them to climb a few fences to get back into the good ol'USA -that'll teach em!!!

There will be 600 to take their place tommorow. Legalization doesn't work either---there is only one way to get rid of drugs, and it can be done in one generation. At least reducing the new drug addict to those getting addicted after hospital stays, but it would be easy to get all drug dealers off the streets, and drugs out of the schools. Standard Oil had the answer a century ago, and the answer they had gave rise to anti-trust laws that we have today. Without anti-trust laws, there would be one huge organization--and its headquarters would be Standard Oil. By now, they may even have had all corporations in the world under their thumb if not for anti-trust legislation.

Sure seemed to after Prohibition. I'd suspect it would work with drugs.

There are bars in every city, and millions of alcoholics with ruined lives. This will be perpetuated through all time.

I am talking about eliminating drugs in one generation. Wasn't I clear?

LOL! How, Bob?

Drum roll please...

The same way Standard Oil eliminated all competition. They made sure their competitors weren't making any money. See if you can take the next step.

You think legalization solved the alcohol problem?

Legalization perpetuates the problem through all time---you call that solving the problem?

I'll give you a link in a bit.

Here is a link to Time--they describe a partial solution.

Here is a link to the DR on the subject.

Legalize marijuana--it hurts no one.

Drugs are a health problem, not a government problem. The feds love more "essential" employees ergo drugs become a "problem" needing DEA, FBI....pensions benefits vacations....
What a scam. The feds are more criminal than Pablo Escobar.

I am talking about eliminating drugs in one generation. Wasn't I clear?

And you wonder why you get your balls busted here all of the time.

(from the article)
"The cartel claims it opposes the sale of meth to Mexicans, but supports its consumption by Americans."

Drug users are not only stupid and weak but in light of the above comment they are un-patriotic, too; giving their financial support to Mexi-cartels.

"Drug users are not only stupid and weak "

What drugs do you use? You ingest caffeine in the morning? You must be stupid and weak.

They won'[t trhow these cirminals to Mexico--they will incarcerate them here in the US.

The US should send the bill to Mexico.
-------

So there were 300 arrested by 3000 agents--10 to 1.

Hmm

The problem with drugs is not the drugs, it's the
violence associated with the black market drug trade.

The drug cartels are scary (black market).
The alcohols are benign (legalization).

Many people wanna get high - let 'em blow their
fuckin' brains out - it is impossible to stop it,
but it can be controlled through legalization.

Prohibition in the 20's & 30's didn't work.
Modern day prohibition makes Al Capone look like a piker.
