Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

The Democratic-controlled House is now an unusual combination of the richest and poorest districts, the best and least educated, and the best and the worst insured. The analysis found that Democrats have attracted educated, affluent whites who had tended previously to vote Republican. Democrats now represent 57% of the 4.8 million households that had incomes of $200,000 or more in 2008. In 2005, Republicans represented 55% of those affluent households.

This is a no-brainer. You think the multitrillion dollar bailouts of the financial industry would have taken place, had Wall Street been in Kentucky, instead of Manhattan? If Hillary and Chuck and Charlie hadn't represented the big investment banks? If most of the hedge funds had been in Orlando, instead of in blue-blood Connecticut and Rhode Island?

Duh. Hope nobody else in America minds, or that nobody in the middle class needed the money.

Interesting ad there at the top...Netboots....websites for Republicans....Netboots???? And they would get mad if anyone commented on the obvious mental picture that name creates in our minds.
Zeig Heil Netboots!

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on you, fool me three times and I will vote for you still.

Koolaid be good.

"And they would get mad if anyone commented on the obvious mental picture that name creates in our minds."

LOL. Danni, in order to get the dreaded Nazi GOP boots out of your mind please consider this......

And the Republicans aren't fooling the poor? Ever? Seems to me that if poor people really thought about it, they'd see that the Republicans don't have their best interests at heart. (Estate tax? Abortion? Health care?) But you know, you'll dismiss for using a "talking point." Really, I'm just sayin', no party has cornered the market on foolery.

ACORN plus money and Hollywood.....

They know what is best for you...... (well, according them at least.....)

Dems Represent Richest, Poorest Areas
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't poor and rich people make up most of the world's criminals?

What's with the class warfare, Republicans?

The party of the average man my ass.

The richest and poorest people have the most to gain from trillion-dollar bailouts and lower-class welfare. Rich lefties also vote for welfare since it makes them feel good to give someone else's money away instead of their own.

If the Democrats are representing them, and probably have been for years, then why are they still poor? Just a thought.

Is this news a suprise to anyone except for Demorat ideologs? The Demorats are in the pockets of the ambulance chasers and industrial bankers(see freddie and fannie).

Do you think that the angry, bloated and mildly psychotic Al Gore is for the common man? His little global roasting scam is going to pay mucho dividends to his own little pocketbook.

This is a no-brainer. You think the multitrillion dollar bailouts of the financial industry would have taken place, had Wall Street been in Kentucky, instead of Manhattan?

YES! IF the financial industry was based in Lexington, YES, it still would have been bailed out. Your attempt at playing the 'repressed victim' was cute.

The funniest part is that you imagine it could be based in KY.

"Do you think that the angry, bloated and drug addicted Rush Limbaugh is for the common man?"

I know that's what you meant to say.

Another brick in the wall of irrelevance for the republicans. They've managed to lose the confidence of a cross-section of demographics, and its only going to get worse if you consider their do-nothing approach and dubious choice of leaders, political or not.

?? Shlurp?

Sheister, care to explain?

I'm guessing you meant you were drinking the Kool-Aid with a straw. That, or it was one of those mature oral-sex retorts.

And that's one thing you can't fault the Dems for. Two trillion dollars sent to Goldman Sachs and Citigroup will be buying votes in New York and New Jersey for the next hundred years. Ditto for the several hundred billion zipped up to Michigan.

The Dems can send a few trillion to the South and Mountain states, and they'll never lose an election again. Of course, that assumes the Chinese will always be there to help Obama and Bawney buy votes. But it's worked so far! Gobama!

Hey dumbshit Wall Street is Republican. Ever hear of the Wall Street Journal? It's very conservative.

Hey dumbshit Wall Street is Republican.

articles.latimes.com

Hey dumbshit, Wall Street is like all other special interest groups. They support who is in power to help them.

you are such a retard.

The democratic party, the melting pot of America--- the only people seeing a melt down is the middle class-- the rest (upper and lower) are already on welfare.

Hey dumbshit Wall Street is Republican. Ever hear of the Wall Street Journal? It's very conservative.

No, I've never heard of them. Is it like a newspaper or something?

The Washington Post has George Will on the payroll. Therefore, Washington DC must be conservative.

Republicans - the C students. So uninterestingly average.

Barack Hussein Obama -- Representing the richest from sea to sea and keeping the poorest dependent and on their knees -- Mmm Mmm Mmm

The poor idiots have blindly supported the DEMS for nearly a century. And the idiots are still poor. Idiots.

Yo shit for brains, Wall Street is Republican at 10am, Democrat at 10:15, Republican at 10:30, Democrat at 11:00....

Do you understand how it works? They will give to who ever they need to give to in order to get something done.

Take a gander at the HS graduation rates in heavily dem controlled school boards and cities. God only knows why the poor haven't figure that out yet lo these last 30-40 years....

Is this guy for real? Where you this stupid before you left this Country? Because it isn't anyones fault but your Parents. They had choices.

The poor idiots have blindly supported the DEMS for nearly a century. And the idiots are still poor. Idiots.

'Idiots'? Twice?

Name calling....that sure is a great strategy to get the poor to listen to the RNC message. Yup....calling them all 'idiots'....brilliant!!

It's working in Wisconsin. The Democratic voters have been promised a free lunch for years and are still holding an empty plate. They show up at the local tax levy increase meetings and raise more hell than Republicans. Maybe they've realized that they're broke and can't afford anymore out of pocket bullshit.

This is nothing but ass kissing. It's been going on since the country was started. Anyone in power in America finds all kinds of allies once the smoke of the election clears. It's called brown nosing. Considering half the people are below average intelligence, that means at least half the country wouldn't know a conservative from a liberal anyway. Take a look at the republican party. They wouldn't now what conservative or liberal values were if it was stamped on their foreheads. They think following the money is conservative values, so when the tide changes they just change hats.

Nanc - don't worry it's just Danni. She sees this WW2 imagery everywhere. Her docs are trying to help her work through it but sadly no results.

Does this make Dems the new Rich White Racist Party??? Just checking.

"Democrats have made enormous gains in affluent, educated suburban districts," says Warren Glimpse, founder of Proximity, a firm that analyzes demographics. "What's not clear is whether this reflects a profound change or a temporary blip."

Temp. blip would be my guess. Wait till all the 200k+ households see their tax burden in the coming couple of years.
