Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

For months and months, conservatives blamed President Obama for the slumping stock market. "Obama, since he's elected, has tanked the markets," Fox News' Sean Hannity said in March. Now that the Dow has rebounded to over 10,000, what are the conservatives saying? On his Fox News today, Neil Cavuto claimed the stock market rebound is evidence of a "Bush recovery":

Just another arm of the GOPiggy spin machine.

hahaha, Neil Cavuto is funny. We can agree now that President Obama has ownership of the economy, right?

He gets credit for this recovery and he has to stop mentioning his inherited (economic) mess from now on, agreed?

-He gets credit for this recovery

Not according to the GNOP FOX News.

"He gets credit for this recovery and he has to stop mentioning his inherited (economic) mess from now on, agreed?"

YEAH!

But do we still get Fifty Years to Judge Bush's actions --- or has that time period already expired in WingDing World (wingding years)?

By the way, just for clarity ------- how many Real years are in one wingding year?

The bull-shittery goes both ways. Libfucks have been claiming this is Bush's economy up until the good news came out about the stock market. Suddenly it's Obama's economy. (what a surprise)

Since I maintained Obama was responsible for what goes on on his watch before, I have no problem crediting him with presiding over a nice increase in the stock market, and look forward to other economic factors to follow.

It was Obama's economy before despite what the libfucks said, (not saying he caused the crash of course) and Obama's economy is improving, which is a good thing.

I'm sure the unemployed would agree.

Does this mean the "Bush's fault" can finally come to an end. I know the "but what about Bush" will live for many years yet.

"Does this mean the "Bush's fault" can finally come to an end. I know the "but what about Bush" will live for many years yet."

I think the "Bush's fault" should be consistent with the "Carters Fault" timeline.

I mean, forget that "Fifty Years to Judge" was mouthed repeatedly during bush's term(s) to only later evolve into "Leave Bush Alone" ----- its only Fair and Balanced that Bush be held to the Same measure (of failure) that the right repeatedly heaped on Carter, even a decade after he left office!

But I imagine that this is just too much "principle" for many on the right fringe to bear!
