Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

In its ongoing war with Fox News Channel, the White House has fired one over the bow.

At his press briefing Tuesday, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs was asked about President Obama's comment, "I've got one television station that is entirely devoted to attacking my administration."

How about a link to one of these false stories.

"How many false stories can faux noise put out?"

There's no legal requirement for them to do otherwise.

Mystery,
Read the story for examples:

One of Fox's falsehoods appears above right. The network has often identified Republican politicians in trouble as Democrats. Pictured above is former Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL), who engaged in lewd instant message conversations with a young male page.

Other Fox falsehoods published in the last month alone include:

* Fox recently claimed that the founder of a gay student group was associated with a man-boy love organization.
* Fox made up a deficit claim when reporting on Obama's 2009 government budget.
* Fox made up facts about the costs of the Olympics.
* A Fox advertisement lied about the coverage of tea party protests on other television networks.
* Fox's Glenn Beck repeatedly lied about Obama policy "czars."

Whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

If you need to hear lies to feel better about yourself, than FoxNews is your station.

It's that simple.

Ask them why they do it......

Uh Kanrei, again you step in it with Fox News.

The lowlife Czar counts a long time pedophile as one of his heros and inspirations (Harry Hay), in fact instituting a Harry Hay day for schools.

Beck used the wrong city when citing the losses they absorbed and corrected it the same program.

All of the other networks and MSM outlets DID ignore the tea party protests until after they had happened, then covered it as if AL queda was in DC. The number of arrests from the protest,....0.....none, nada, zip.

Glenn Beck is the only people doing his job and reporting on these sick freaks, communist, pedophiles, and degenerates Hussein is putting in power.

You need to stop poisoning your mind with sick lies from hard left scum.

The "frank55" posts are getting wayyyyy to easy to spot by just the headlines ... even when he quotes Olbermann.

until after they had happened

Hard to report on an event before it happens. Minority Report News- telling you who did it before it gets done.

And Fox News has been clearly full of shit ever since they reported that Saddam was sneaking unmanned drones into American cities incase we invaded.

And Certainly Not News (CNN) or Masturbating Suck-ups Not Broadcasting Content (MSNBC) doesn't get a pass from me either.

hmmmmmmmm...a title without a viable story. Figures frank posted it.

Truth and the Rightwing of American politics have been enemies for many years now. Why should it surprise anyone that the spokesperson for the rightwing, Fox News, engages in lying wholesale?

At least FOX apologizes to its viewers when found to be mistaken.

"hmmmmmmmm...a title without a viable story." - Nanc

And it isn't yours! Is the end of times near?

"* Fox made up a deficit claim when reporting on Obama's 2009 government budget."

2009 was Bush's budget. Obama's just began the first of October. They falsely reported the deficit as Obama's.

Obama lies too and you still watch him.

I read a story that claimed all this negative publicity was causing more people to tune them in, I guess out of curiousity. Isn't that ironic.

On the June 3, 2009 Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC, host Rachel Maddow cited a false quote attributed to Rush Limbaugh in which the radio host supposedly said he wanted to award Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassin the Medal of Honor. Since Limbaugh expressed interest in becoming part owner of the St. Louis Rams in October, several MSNBC hosts have repeated that and other false quotes.

Today's St. Louis Post-Dispatch has an "Editor's Note" on their sports pages about the false quote attributed to radio host Rush Limbaugh, that Limbaugh had supposedly said that slavery "had its merits." The paper says the quote came from a left-wing book that offered "no specific details" about its origins and that "the Post-Dispatch continues to research the origin of the quote."

Dan Rather.

They all (FOX, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC) lie, or to be charitable, they make mistakes.

WE only notice when the mistakes place our point of view in a bad light.

The White House has screwed up here and should do their best to treat Fox the same as other media outlets.

NOTHING HERE figures Frankf 2.5 and another B.S story...
