Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Defense Secretary Robert Gates, a prominent member of former President George W. Bush's Cabinet, said he's enjoying the job under a new Democratic president. "He is very analytical," Gates said of Obama. "He is very deliberate about the way he goes through things. He wants to understand everything. He delves very deeply into these issues."

Because Gates don't have to worry about using too big of words when he gives Obama his orders.

When _he_ gives Obama his orders? Methinks you are confused about who is in charge of whom. Oh, you meant to be clever?

So Mystery, when Bush's advisors said positive things about him, did you make the same cynical comment? If not, you're a hypocrite.

What do you suppose the odds are of that? lol

Ahhh, the backward bizzaro working of the mysterious rtard mentality never fails to sparkle.

" And we don't have to dig up crappy Scritpural references to divert him form what's in the reports."

I want what he is drinking.

President Obama has got to know that from January 20, 2009 until his last day in Office he will be attacked by the Conservative right. This no matter what he accomplishes for this Country. They did the same to Pres. Clinton an they will do the same to Obama, thats all the Repub has, FEAR AN ATTACK!!!!!!! This shit is getting old......

"This no matter what he accomplishes for this Country."

Obama is a socialist, and maybe even a Marxist. Since he doesn't believe in the Constitution, how can he be expected to defend it. Whatever he accomplishes will be a nightmare from which to recover.

That is one of the most amazing things I've ever read from a rightwinger on this site. Oh, no, it's not--it's quite the same, but less emotionally put.

Irony, thy name is Republican4Ever.

Obama's stimulus package has been one gigantic clunker, making the economic situation even worse than what it was. As a result, the national debt is skyrocketing. Plus, with the amount of money that the feds have printed, inflation is right around the corner. Can't wait to see what else he has in store for us.

GOP leaders told Bush that his hardcore push to renew the more onerous provisions of the act could further alienate conservatives still mad at the President from his botched attempt to nominate White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.

"I don't give a goddamn," Bush retorted. "I'm the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way."

"Mr. President," one aide in the meeting said. "There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution."

"Stop throwing the Constitution in my face," Bush screamed back. "It's just a goddamned piece of paper!"

Obviously, Bush was a Stalinist, possibly a Maoist. Or Republican4ever is just another stupid Limbette. Or both.

Gates is gay and he loves obama and they love each other and I think eric holder makes three.

Like Tenet (ex-Clinton) didn't praise Bush?

These are re-run statements from a month or so ago--from Gates.

NOR-
I've seen the DR left reference that Bush phrase (from #12). Do you have context... or a link for more info?

No, neither. I'm just a concerned citizen who sees my country going down the tubes, and the media just doesn't seem to give a damn. Can you imagine if a Republican President had said that his economic policies had saved x number of jobs? The media would be demanding proof. The double-standard is sickening.

"he plays with my clit"

Kissing ass to the boss.

If Obama is so damned analytical as Gates says, where are the damned timetables & benchmarks for Afghanistan - you know - the sh!t the Democrats were demanding from George Bush?

What the hell is the end mission there?

saving a little face

It is intuitively obvious to the most casual observer that Obama is smarter than Shrub and more honest than anyone in the Bush Crime Family. Only partisan morons are upset about booting the Rethuglicans out of power. The only thing better would be to get send both parties packing.

Why do libs need Bush or one of the people in his administration to prop up their BOY?

Shit-heap,

You couldn't explain either concept without Google (then I'm still not sure you could) so spare us your retarded rants about 'socialism' & Marxism.

Also, do you really think he became a CONSTITUTIONAL LAW PROFESSOR because he doesn't believe in the Constitution???

You routinely prove your stupidity here, but this many be new low for you.

Why are you so upset the a carry-over from the Bush yeas said good things about the President?

BTW, your 'BOY' reference in all caps was quaint but please, just grow a pair and just call him a nigger like you and your family do around the dinner table. Let your hate flag fly high, cracker.

..just call him a nigger.

According to Sigmund Freud, projection is a psychological defense mechanism whereby one "projects" one's own undesirable thoughts, motivations, desires, and feelings onto someone else.

Clever, Goat, but do you really think that BOY doesn't mean nigger? It was pretty clear to me, but I'm only selectively taking Thom's bait. : )

Yeah, Goat, there's really no other way to interpret "BOY" in regard to a black president.

"...I'm just a concerned citizen who sees my country going down the tubes, and the media just doesn't seem to give a damn. #16 | Posted by Republican4ever

Your country is 'going down the tubes' not because of Obama, but because your right-wing friends, the Republican Fat Cats. THEY stole us blind in the last weeks of October 2008, before Obama's Victory, which left Obama and We the People not one goddamn penny in the national treasury to run this country.

Oh, that and a little thing called Bush's War for Lies and Oil. Unless you think Haliburton stealing hundreds of billions is just democracy at work.

"...Can you imagine if a Republican President had said that his economic policies had saved x number of jobs? The media would be demanding proof. The double-standard is sickening...

Where the F*$^# are you when everry president gives the State of the Nation speech? Every President says this, republican or democratic. Sometimes it's even true!

The only double standard is the one where republican piggies can bitch about a country they wrecked...and get away with it.

Saave, Moron?

From the same category of praise as: "For a fat chick, she doesn't sweat too much."

Of course Gates likes working for Obama. Obama has proven to love waging war in AfRaqiStan as much as Bush did. Gates has a solid gig going.

Because if there weren't a war (or two) going on, we wouldn't have a Secretary of Defense?

#8....

You forgot to mention that the left attacked Bush for 8 years.
