Ex-Bush Aide Praises Obama

Defense Secretary Robert Gates, a prominent member of former President George W. Bush's Cabinet, said he's enjoying the job under a new Democratic president. "He is very analytical," Gates said of Obama. "He is very deliberate about the way he goes through things. He wants to understand everything. He delves very deeply into these issues."

President Obama has got to know that from January 20, 2009 until his last day in Office he will be attacked by the Conservative right. This no matter what he accomplishes for this Country. They did the same to Pres. Clinton an they will do the same to Obama, thats all the Repub has, FEAR AN ATTACK!!!!!!! This shit is getting old......

Obama is a socialist, and maybe even a Marxist. Since he doesn't believe in the Constitution, how can he be expected to defend it. Whatever he accomplishes will be a nightmare from which to recover.

Obama's stimulus package has been one gigantic clunker, making the economic situation even worse than what it was. As a result, the national debt is skyrocketing. Plus, with the amount of money that the feds have printed, inflation is right around the corner. Can't wait to see what else he has in store for us.

GOP leaders told Bush that his hardcore push to renew the more onerous provisions of the act could further alienate conservatives still mad at the President from his botched attempt to nominate White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.

No, neither. I'm just a concerned citizen who sees my country going down the tubes, and the media just doesn't seem to give a damn. Can you imagine if a Republican President had said that his economic policies had saved x number of jobs? The media would be demanding proof. The double-standard is sickening.
