Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

It may seem rather unkind to express some serious doubts about US President Barack Obama just now. He is wowing the UN with talk of nuclear disarmament. He is mesmerising the Group of 20 with talk of global recovery. He is leading a policy review that talks of winning in Afghanistan and he will not send more troops in response to the request of the US military commander in Afghanistan, Stanley McChrystal, without deeper talks.

He has stirred hearts in the Middle East with talk of peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. And from October 1 he will be talking directly with the Iranians in pursuit of his talk of stopping Tehran from getting nuclear weapons.

It's a lot of very impressive talk. And yet, and yet...

Obama is on a foreign-policy trajectory that is EXAXTLY how he was caracitured during the campaign.

At this point, his foreign policy is at a crossroad.

Does he get progressively tougher? Or does he capitulate even more?

The abandonment of the missile shield may be the most exasperating action he has taken to date. Now, if he got some quiet, behind the scenes tit-for-tat with the Ruskies as a result...well, then it becomes a somewhat more palatable decision. Having said that, as it appears right now, he gave up something big and negotiated nothing in return.

I have genuine concerns that he will bow down over and over again.

We'll find out soon enough.

Why should the world fear Obama. Only arrogant people wish to be feared. You catch more flies with Honey than You do with Vineger.

Posted this on the nooner before I saw this thread:

So it looks like Russia is going to back sanctions against Iran now that the US has pulled back on the missle defense system. Let's see, we don't have to spend money on a questionable program, we don't have to pay foreign governments to allow us to set up said questionable program in their territory, and Russia decides to back us on sanctions against Iran. Looks like diplomacy does work after all.

I don't love him.. but I do fear his domestic agenda.

Does that count?

"Why should the world fear Obama"

Because we have been set up as the world police. We are the "superpower" that everyone expects to step in when there is a problem. We are the teeth behind the UN, not that i agree with out status but it is the way things are. If we are seen as weak we will be required to use force on a more frequent basis, and that is not what we want now is it?

Well, obviously Obama is afraid of Israel's owners...

NETANYAHU PULLING OBAMA'S STRINGS IN U.N. GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Netanyahu drew the line; in line with Likud party policy, there would be no withdrawals from the West Bank. So Obama then insisted on a freeze of settlement expansion and new settlements before talks could get underway. Netanyahu, just to show his utter contempt for the whole notion of peace talks and negotiations for a Palestinian state, announces that it will approve more houses in settlements in the West Bank. And now, in the latest twist on talks and settlements in the West Bank, President Obama, desperate to make it at least seem as though some headway is being made, has conceded that talks should go ahead without preconditions', that is; without any settlement freeze.

"UN" means not and the United Nations proves it every day.

Netanyahu also scolded the United Nations for giving the Iranian president "legitimacy" just six decades after the Holocaust. Ahmadinejad addressed the body Wednesday, and in the run-up to the session repeated his belief that the Holocaust is a myth.

"What a disgrace," Netanyahu said. "What a mockery of the charter of the United Nations."

Netanyahu challenged the international community to step up and prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, but expressed broad disappointment with the United Nations.

He accused the United Nations of remaining silent on attacks on Israelis from Hamas, and blasted the U.N. Human Rights Council for its "twisted standards."

The Human Rights Council issued a recent report that condemned Israel for its offensive in the Gaza Strip last January. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice last week called the report, conducted by South African Judge Richard Goldstone, "unbalanced, one sided and basically unacceptable," but the White House on Wednesday corrected a report that it would not allow the findings to reach the International Criminal Court.

"What a travesty," Netanyahu said. "Israel justly defended itself against terror."

That is because you are a pussy.

That's all.

"Okay, I missed a memo here someplace; just what did Iran have to do with the Holocaust six decades ago?

"And does Israel consider present-day Germany illegitimate six decades after the holocaust?

better be good Afgani stuff!

Okay, I missed a memo here someplace; just what did Iran have to do with the Holocaust six decades ago?

Iran denies it happened and therefore denies Israel's right to exist. The UN gave Israel to the Jewish people so either they must correct Iran or withdraw support for Israel, but they cannot have it both ways.

Iran shouldn't deny the holocaust.

They should highlight the Zionists role in it.

Cui Bono?

Full text of Ahmadinejad's speech to the UN General Assembly

politicaltheatrics.org

"How can one imagine that the inhuman policies in Palestine may continue; to force the entire population of a country out of their homeland for more than 60 years by resorting to force and coercion; to attack them with all types of arms and even prohibited weapons; to deny them of their legitimate right of self-defense, while much to the chagrin of the international community calling the occupiers as the peace lovers, and portraying the victims as terrorists.

"How can the crimes of the occupiers against defenseless women and children and destruction of their homes, farms, hospitals and schools be supported unconditionally by certain governments, and at the same time, the oppressed men and women be subject to genocide and heaviest economic blockade being denied of their basic needs, food, water and medicine.

"They are not even allowed to rebuild their homes which were destroyed during the 22-day barbaric attacks by the Zionist regime while the winter is approaching. Whereas the aggressors and their supporters deceitfully continue their rhetoric in defense of human rights in order to put others under pressure.

"It is no longer acceptable that a small minority would dominate the politics, economy and culture of major parts of the world by its complicated networks, and establish a new form of slavery, and harm the reputation of other nations, even European nations and the U.S., to attain its racist ambitions.

"It is not acceptable that some who are several thousands of kilometers away from the Middle East would send their troops for military intervention and for spreading war, bloodshed, aggression, terror and intimidation in the whole region while blaming the protests of nations in the region, that are concerned about their fate and their national security, as a move against peace and as interference in others' affairs. Look at the situations in Iraq and Afghanistan."

(CINCINNATI, Ohio) - In John Farmer's book: "The Ground Truth: The Story Behind America's Defense on 9/11″, the author builds the inescapably convincing case that the official version... is almost entirely untrue...

The 9/11 Commission now tells us that the official version of 9/11 was based on false testimony and documents and is almost entirely untrue. The details of this massive cover-up are carefully outlined in a book by John Farmer, who was the Senior Counsel for the 9/11 Commission.

Obama: I am against the murder of innocents but for immunity for the murderers

A top White House official told Jewish organizational leaders in an off-the-record phone call Wednesday that the U.S. strategy was to "quickly" bring the report -- commissioned by the U.N. Human Rights Council and carried out by former South African Judge Richard Goldstone -- to its "natural conclusion" within the Human Rights Council and not to allow it to go further, Jewish participants in the call told JTA.

Webmaster's Commentary:
"This administration's response to the Goldstone report is the clearest demonstration possible of the absolute vice-grip control Israel has over US foreign policy".

I've never been stung by a bee because of a bottle of cheap wine. I have been stung with my hand in the honey pot, though.

When I worked at a lumber yard a few years back, we would kill the wasps while they were flying since they can't sting then

Will be sure to check it out manana when I'm not dragging like I am now and I've had some sleep and a fresh cup of coffee under my belt. Been a long day.
